I enjoyed their Banana Nutella french toast with whipped topping with caramel drizzle and powdered sugar. The two slices of french toast had banana and nutella between the two slices with more banana and whipping on top. It’s hard not to love a breakfast like this. The service was relatively quick. The place was kinda busy at 6am, but my food came out in a timely fashion. Waiter was kinda to refill my coffee a couple of times. Service was nothing remarkable, but If I am in the area looking for breakfast I would come back to this place.

Cookies has been a local favourite for many, many years. Everything on the menu is great, and the staff has a very low turnover because Cookie, the owner, treats them all very well. I kind of miss the old décor, with the eclectic mix of chairs and tables, some just folding tables from Costco. They’ve put in all new furniture now, and charmed up the walls with lots of fun saying and quips. Five Stars, and worth every single one.

This place is just THEBEST for breakfast. My family and I are always trying to rush here after church on Sundays… and boy is it packed. I think they could even benefit from expanding the place. Anyway, all of the breakfast omelettes are pretty good. My little brother-in-law always struggles to finish his because it’s a decent sized portion. c: But well worth it! I’d also recommend the meatloaf. It’s not as sweet as some other people do it,(which I personally like) and it’s topped with some mushrooms(which I love). The service has almost always been great for us. The last time, there was a new waitress who got a lot wrong, but she refused to take a tip and was just. a really nice person? I’ve never had any trouble with it. A few times, the waitresses even recognized me and guessed my order! Great place for breakfast or lunch, even if it can get busy in the mornings.

Just had breakfast here for the first time and it won’t be the last. Had the cornflake crusted french toast with strawberries and it was one of the best restaurant meals I’ve ever had! Everything on the menu sounds so good, make sure you give yourself time to order! Was there on a Sunday mid-morning and business was booming and after we were seated there was a wait for a table. Looking forward to returning!

Visiting my friend sandra and Chilliwack and although I am trying to eat a little healthier sometimes you just gotta let loose. My perused Unilocal and a few other sites for a brunch place this morning. It came down to Cookie’s having photos on their Unilocal reviews and the other place did not. family oriented, very basic décor and the friendliest staff I have seen in a long time. And I asked the waitress for help with my order as I often do and she gave me some really good guidance like ordering sourdough toast instead of whole wheat. Sandra ordered the cornflakes crusted french toast. I’m not a french toast fan but she can’t stop raving about it. It normally comes with whipped cream but she ordered it without. I decided on the sausage lovers skillet and it was perfect. Different sausages pan fried with onions and topped with cheese tossed in with some«chunky» hash browns. Topped with your choice of eggs — I went for my favourite poached and they were cooked perfectly! Bonus! My only criticism is that the potatoes could have been cooked with some fresh herbs. But that may be because I saw Jamie Oliver cooking with rosemary just before I left the house. Really satisfying and tons of food for a decent price. I think we were around $ 30 for the two of us. Oh coffee was just okay — but I did have 2 cups.

I love this place! The eggs benny were to die for! I could only eat half but the rest made a great lunch! No this is not where you go to lose weight or need to dress to the nines. Just pull your hair back, throw on a sweater and enjoy! The staff is awesome, food is great as who doesn’t like comfort food!!! I am eating here, every time I visit Chilliwack to see my mom. I fly in once a month and it is a fun and cute place to eat at!

Smaller portions, the food was totally under-seasoned. It was so under-seasoned that my fiancé and I got extra hollandaise to put on our skillet. Even the hollandaise just tasted like butter. The ambiance is not amazing, but it’s very homy. We were very dissapointed to see how little potatoes were on our skillet. That being said, the price is very fair. This would be a good place to eat for people who are on a tight budget and want basic food, no extra seasoning or anything. We are new to Chilliwack, but will be trying other breakfast places in town before coming back.

Great little place tucked away off the highway. Huge lineup out the door which is a good sign! Affordable. The only thing stopping me from giving it five stars is the fact that the servers were slammed and there weren’t enough bodies on to actually call it great service but the servers did their best despite spilling some juice on the floor and dumping some coffee grounds by accident. I would eat here again, but they should think of hiring a hostess.

My favourite restaurant in Chilliwack. Tucked away in an industrial area, this diner serves hearty, delicious breakfasts at a reasonable price. The staff is friendly. My grandparents are regulars here and the servers remember their usual order. Décor looks like a cross between grandma’s kitchen and a bingo hall. Some of the chairs are made of wood but most of the tables and chairs are the commercial grade folding ones that can be bought at Costco. The best part is the food. Truck stop style comfort food. I’ve had both the pancakes with sausage and scrambled eggs and the schnitzel in mushroom gravy(Schnitzel Champignon) on separate visits. The pancakes were big and fluffy and done perfectly. The schnitzel was nice and crispy and didn’t get soggy because of the gravy. Portion sizes are generous. You will leave the restaurant feeling full. The parking lot is usually full. Don’t park in stalls reserved for neighbouring businesses; park on the street instead.

Feels like a truck stop diner style place crossed with a country kitchen. Excellent. fast, friendly service and reasonable prices. The scrambles, pancakes and good ol’ bacon and eggs are great, but we do not recommend the eggs benny(seriously, don’t do it). Just a minute or so off the highway this is a great spot to stop for brekkie on the way through Chilliwack.

Sadly Cookies is no longer the best kept secret in Chilliwack. What can I say but excellent food, great food and definitely value for your money. Crowded? Damn right, but worth the wait if they are busy, and that’s almost always!

Good breakfast large portions and great service, food a little greasy. A truck stop type place without truck parking, bottomless coffee Had the brekky special, 2 each of sausages, bacon and eggs, 1 slice of ham and hash browns, shredded and pan fried with toast and a side, I ordered the waffle sticks assuming mini waffles but actually waffles covered in brown sugar, next time I will order the pancake.

Cookies is always awesome! They’re packed every single time I come here, they’re just that good. Service is prompt, food is delicious, prices are fair and the specials are great. We go back again and again. It’s a local secret.

Cookies is by far the best breakfast in Chilliwack. It’s always busy so be early and expect a wait on the weekends. As for food I always get the classic breakfast from off the menu. It’s the same as the breakfast special but for the extra $ 1 you get coffee and more eggs. I have work meetings here all the time and everyone loves it. Make sure you check it out
