Steven Hiscoe Shihan is a true leader in the field of self-​defense. As a use of force instructor for law enforcement what he teaches is cutting edge and he stays on top of the latest ideas and innovations in the field. As the head of the western Canadian contingent of the Canadian Jiu-​jitsu Union and the heir apparent for the style of Can-​ryu Jiu-​jitsu, he is highly motivating, empowering, and an excellent leader and instructor.
