I originally went to the restaurant because I had bought an entertainment book and my daughter and i decided to try it out. I highly recommend this restaurant!!! I found the dishes were good sized and full of flavor. I also enjoyed the fact that the owner himself was out on the floor working and making sure everyone was happy!!! I will most likely become a regular!!!

Awesome restaurant. Food is delicious and service is friendly. The guys there know their stuff and most importantly, hospitality is their number one concern.

I really love the music at the restaurant and the décor is pleasant. Portions are huge. If you have a huge appetite the dinner box for $ 19,95 is pretty good value. The staff is conscientious and corrected errors quickly.
They just got a new chef who made wonderful desserts. Food presentation was nice but some items were not as warm as they could be.

Did not even eat there b/​c they are so rude and have horrible customer service.
Waited 15 min to be seated when there was only 3 tables with people sitting at them. After waiting 5 min for someone to come we decided to leave.

This is the first time I have downgraded a review. Took my wife here for birthday and was disappointed in the service. People around us were served and gone before we got to order. The wasabi prawns which I always order are becoming shrimp. And $ 20 for a 9 oz glass of passable wine was out of line. My wife is celiac and the ability to find something she can have is becoming less and less and asking them to slightly change an item was not doable. I was very disappointed, wasn’t really given a reason to come back, I was a fan.

I’m totally not afraid to give this beautiful restaurant 5 stars! There’s nothing I would change about my visit.
Just driving by whilst working in Chilliwack today I decided to pop in for lunch. As the windows are quite tinted I didn’t notice the interior décor from outside, so it was a lovely surprise to walk in and be greeted with this gorgeous, modern dining room! I felt a tad underdressed in my yoga pants, baseball hat and sneakers but whatevs, Mondays are hard y’all! I was immediately greeted and offered my choice of seating, which was appreciated as I hate being relegated to uncomfy wooden seats instead of a cushy booth simply because I’m eating alone. Booth it is! And they certainly didn’t scrimp on the booth size, which is a nice change! Someone of considerable size could actually wriggle their way to the far end of the booth without feeling like Andre the Giant in a Mini Cooper. I was promptly introduced to my server who mentioned the specials and plunked a considerable menu in front of me, lunch and regular service. I don’t think I noticed one item that I wouldn’t want to taste!
I decided on the hot green tea to start (not free, FYI, but very good quality! Not at all bitter like some sushi joints who continually rebrew old tea). Miso soup which had enoki mushroom pieces, big firm chunks of tofu and tasted not at all like feet, which is nice. Lion King sushi roll, which was a cooked tuna purée with avocado & cream cheese and topped with raw salmon, roe & various sauces. A nice big roll for $ 9.99! Server brought out ponzu sauce for dipping and complimentary marinated edamame. Marinated in what, I’m not sure but it was damn tasty. Bill came to $ 17 + tip. Not too shabby for a fantastic lunch of creative fresh food that could easily be served in downtown Vancouver for double the price! All food items came out quickly and the server was delightful throughout (thanks, Shandy-​Lee!). Not incredibly busy at lunchtime, but they had a number of tables coming and going. I’ll be back for sure!

Would highly recommend! Everything I’ve ordered there has been delicious. Especially a sushi roll called ‘the one’. Would kind of compare it to a less swanky version of PF Changs. The only downer, sloppy service. It took about 3 servers to get us our drinks, and that continued the whole night. And that is not a one off, it happens every time I’m there. Doesn’t stop me though!
