HUGE portions. It’s almost impossible to leave hungry. It’s like a very good, restaurant-quality ramen. The meat quality is good, and it even comes with lemongrass,(basil?), and bean sprouts. They have hoisin and sriracha at the table. Be aware that phở is quite salty, but it’s supposed to be. Their smoothies are made with real fruit, so they aren’t as flavorful as you might expect. Leaving them to sit for a few minutes helps bring out the flavor. They no longer serve bubble tea at all, and have stopped serving several flavors of smoothie(soursop, and durian), but have not updated their menu to reflect this. Overall, good value. NOTE: Eat your leftovers as soon as possible. The noodles go mushy within 12 – 24 hours.

The best Chicken Vermicelli I have EVER had. The salad rolls and spring rolls were also amazing. Sadly, I was on vacation when I ate here otherwise I would be going way more often! It would even be worth the drive — so good! And the staff were awesome!

Just so everyone is aware… It says they deliver but they do not. Or as the lady said when I called and asked: «no. No no no.»

Rated this a 5 star because it is the best place to go in Chilliwack. Even better than some of the ones in Vancouver. If you don’t go at right time, be prepared to wait for awhile. The good was really good — from phở to lemongrass chicken on rice, you can’t go wrong with anything here. Although the service was pretty good, you have to wonder how quicker things would be if they had another person working. Seems like minimal staff on hand during the peak times. The parking lot isn’t the best. Hard to find parking especially when sharing with Starbucks!

This is a hidden gem. Best Phở in Chilliwack. Place is packed every lunch hour. Get there at least 15 minutes before noon if you don’t want to wait for a table. They make the broth the right way so that you really get the robust flavours. The place reminds me of Seinfelds no soup for you episode. It’s not a fancy joint but everyone lines up because the soup is so good.

The best place for Phở in BC… not even joking. Be prepared to wait at peak times but it will be worth it! Staff are excellent and remember you and what you like to order.

This is my fave phở place, and I’ve had a lot all over the lower mainland(and even made some myself). This little family place is getting it right. Service is fast, friendly, clean and efficient. But, why you really want to come is for the divine, nay, profound, bowl of soup. Made with loving attention by sorcerers using rare ingredients carried on the backs of jungle monkeys to your table, this broth has a depth and complexity of layered flavour no other phở I’ve tasted has. It will truly become the standard by which you measure all other phở experiences. Generous portions and super fresh ingredients compliment the bowl. Other plates are also delicious and prepared with a casual care that belies their excellent quality. I look forward to stopping by whenever we are travelling past Chilliwack and at the risk of sharing a sublime secret, encourage you to check it out also(just keep them in business for me ok?)!

Have tried this place a several times. Very convenient as its 1 ½ blocks away. Not what I would consider comfortable in terms of atmosphere. The food is basic and priced accordingly and nothing to get excited about. The service is however good.

Didn’t expect to find a good vietnamese place in this part of town but this place was a pleasant surprise! The portions were great and the special was a good deal, large phở and spring roll for $ 10.70. They were very generous with the meat portion. Service was standard to any vietnamese restauraunt, no nonsense and quick. Would definitely go back again when I’m in the area.

Had amazing phở here! I will definitely be back, I had a small galaxy special and shared shrimp salad rolls with my date. I was so full after! The service was great, we came at a busy time and they were still friendly and efficient.

Hits the spot. All I had tonight was the chicken skewer. Yum! For just $ 5. Better than fat food, that’s for sure!

Another fantastic meal at Phở Galaxy. The food came out super fast and tasted soooo good. I went with a buddy and both ordered the #23 beef noodle large soup with spring roll. Everything was perfect. Would be 5 stars but I feel they have cut down the noodles and meat a bit. I’m at 4.5 stars on this one. A worthy stop indeed.

Absolutely delicious exquisite phở. Had the Galaxy special 2 with rare beef and a salad roll, a small wonton soup and combo 107 on rice with shrimp paste on sugar cane, lemongrass chicken skewer and two spring rolls. Service was friendly, fast, and genuine. The food was sublime. Huge portions and the complexity of flavor in the phở broth meant nothing was needed condiment wise other than the supplied basil lime and chili. Shrimp paste skewer is a must try but there’s no way anyone should be going to this establishment and not having a bowl of that awesome noodle soup. I’m in love. Thank you phở Galaxy. Chilliwack. Who knew??? Just believe it :)

I’m from the states, DC area and I’ve had a lot of phở in my time. So I was really surprised at the quality of Phở at this place. Other reviewers will echo my sentiment, so here’s a summary. Get the PHO, not the subs. They might be good, but the phở on average is better. My favorite is #25, which has beef brisket I believe, and tripe. Very good. And there are other options if you’re afraid of tripe. ^-^ But I personally think the soups really ask for a beef. Also, the SERVICE has always been pretty good and even quick – whenever it wasn’t extremely busy. The older man and the other woman who served us were both really friendly – and have been this way pretty much every time we’ve gone. The ATMOSPHERE, is pretty average. It’s not very intimate, it’s more casual. c: Oh man, I’ve never gone here and not been totally stuffed when I got the regular! Fantastic. I always add the spicy stuff and the oil on the side to get a soup that’s nicely warm and spicy. Great for a cold, by the way. Strongly recommend.

Delicious Phở and spring rolls. Galaxy 2 combo. Great price. Broth was dark and flavourful. Perfect amount of rice noodles. Large portions. I wasn’t that big on the hoisin sauce or the springroll dip. Very minor in nature. Friendly owners and people. I live in Langley, so just passing through Chilliwack. But I would easily recommend this place has a sure winner if you’re craving some Phở.

Been eating Phở in Vancouver for many years and this place in Chilliwack serves the best Phở I’ve ever had. The broth tasted authentic(not too salty and not too much MSG) but flavours that you get only after boiling for many hours. The grilled pork sub was also to die for and a good accompaniment to the Phở soup. Will definitely be coming back!

They have a great selection of Vietnamese fare not just limited to the usual phở and rice dishes. We came here on Wed night and the place was busy with take out customers as well as restaurant patrons. I ordered the Bun Bo Hue and my hubby ordered the house special phở. Their phở broth was better than most that we have tasted… it had another level/dimension in the flavours. kind of like when you taste good wine vs an average wine. Their tables tell a story about how phở came about — I love learning something new while waiting for food! The mango bubble tea that my hubby ordered was not quite up to par — for one, it came as a slush rather than«tea», and the mango flavour was meh. Of course, it’s not a bubble tea place so we didn’t have high expectations. So all in all, once again Unilocal 4 star reviews saved my day!

Good Phở in… Chilliwack?! Yes! It exists! The BBH itself was alright. They don’t have«Bun» noodles so they gave me the option of regular Phở noodles or fat Udon style noodles. I went with the regular Phở noodles. The BBH came in a massive bowl and it smelled and looked delicious. And the only real complaint I had was that there was way too much meat. Why am I complaining about too much meat? I must be crazy. But somehow I felt like they just put everything they had in the kitchen into the bowl and called it BBH. I mean… it’s not like it tasted horrendous but sometimes… less is more. I’ll have to say though that it’s nothing compared to the variety of good Phở in Vancouver but compared to the small handful of food options in Chilliwack, Phở Galaxy is definitely something I’d recommend if you’re in the area.

As a crazy foodie and a Vancouverite, I admit to looking at small town restaurants with a bit of undeserved condescension. However, as work has taken me outside of the GVRD over the years, I have been smacked in the face with the truth of the existence of real gems in these distant locales. I was tested again, a year ago when I came to Chilliwack for work. I went to Phở Galaxy as it was one block from the jobsite, and I was afraid to get lost in the middle of nowhere. I never for a moment thought I would be eating some of the best Phở I have had in Canada… in Chilliwack! This place is owned by a Vietnamese family who are just as funky and down to earth as their little restaurant. If your looking for luxe comfort you won’t find it here. Here what matters is the 9 hour labour intensive secret broth recipe that surpasses most phở places, and is a heavily guarded family secret. Its truly warming and wonderful. They also don’t scrimp on trying to make it as authentic as possible, by offering real thai opal basil, sawtooth cilantro, and perfect little limes on the side. And they don’t order their beef balls from T&T…they are homemade just like their spring rolls. I have been to Phở Galaxy so many times since then, and my experience just gets better and better. Maybe people are just really friendly in Chilli, or maybe its the comforting food, but I always seem to end up in deep conversation or pulling up to another table to share a meal. Next time I go I’m trying a sub!
