Update: I finally wrote in to their customer service to ask about their hand-washing policies. I was contacted by someone very quickly, the next day. He assured me that Pizza Pizza follows a rigorous hand-washing policy, and that each location gets inspected on a monthly basis to ensure employees are following the policy. He mentioned too that things like long fingernails, jewellery like rings etc are forbidden for employees touching the pizza, and that such ones cannot turn around and handle other things like cash while in charge of preparing the pizzas. As for my second complaint, namely that Pizza Pizza doesn’t deliver to my area despite my living a mere 12 minutes away, he said he would be escalating to a manager and pushing to get my area added to the list. So this review is really a 4.5 stars, with a full fifth star on the way if they start delivering to my area(I’m willing to overlook the somewhat dopey service from the store staff because the pizza is just SOGOOD!)

This used to be an alright place to get a pizza in a pinch but lately it’s gone downhill considerably. The staff don’t give a flying frig about the customers and the pizza is usually overdone because whoever is working seems to disappear out back doing whatever while your pizza sits at the end of the oven.

Got a quick $ 5.99 pizza, wasn’t too bad when I ate it, what I expected for a cheap 10 min pizza. What I didn’t expect is how sick I was the next day. Lesson learned the hard way. Must have been some serious MSG or artificial flavours in that pizza to make me that ill. Never again.
