Attar Currency Exchange

Attar offers the best rate of exchange that we could find, compared to the local banks. Simple service, no complaints.

I found Attar Currency Exchange recently via some online searching for foreign currency exchange facilities that might be nearer and easier for us to access than having to make our way into downtown, or other areas of Vancouver.
When checking out their currency exchange rates page information, comparing rates with a well-​known facility we know in downtown Vancouver, and finding their «buy rates» as competitive, we decided to head there and exchange some Mexican pesos back to Canadian dollars.
The facility itself is a small, one ‘wicket’ operation, located up one flight of stairs from ground level. Service was courteous and friendly.
We exchanged (a sizeable amount of) Mexican pesos (saved from previous stays in Puerto Vallarta) back to Canadian dollars, and were very pleased with the exchange rate received.
A small side note: we have found parking can often be a bit of a challenge in that location (Lincoln Centre), but at this time (near the 10am opening of the currency exchange) on a Saturday, we lucked out, and got the last space available right in front of the facility, making everything go rather smooth and easy.
