Terrible service and vey expensive, no wonder there is only one person working the cash register, they don’t have any customers, it’s convenient if u live close to the area but don’t go out you’re way to come here it’s better to just drive down the hill and go to Safeway, this place is a rip off

I am greatly disappointed by the service here. I am a successful woman and, i came into the store with my daughter to buy cake mix to bake a cake and tiolet paper, she was desperate for a pee to which we went to the bathroom, once in the bathroom, My daughter said momma theres someone waiting outside. There was a man waiting for us asking if needed help. Like there is two reasons a man is waiting for a woman and a 4 year old either he thinks we’ve been hurt, or he thinks were stealing. I spoke to the manager to which he replied, well thats your perception, what type of answer is that. Maybe try Im sorry you felt this way, I will ensure customers in my store don’t feel this way. He was dismissive, to which I ended up apologizing, for what was an error in service their end. The Manager is never to be seen. Don’t go here I won’t be again.

Definitely a feel of the Westwood aura, though it’s on the smaller size surprisingly compared to some of Vancouver’s, esp. with the West Broadway one.
Sucks that you have to ask the staff to let you in the washroom in the back.

Wow, this is a far cry from the Ioco IGA that I used to frequent when living in Port Moody! This is definitely her much younger and way hotter lil’ sis! My parents recently moved across the street from this location and while I at first was dreading the whole Westwood Plateau thing, I am very happy to be within easy walking distance of this store while on vacation here.
Great deli, bakery and produce. I’m pretty sure their prices are a little higher then the Safeway but it’s all relative. Both times I went in, the cashiers made conversation beyond the customary small talk. Will definitely be back!

Market Place, IGA Westood Plateau is a very luxurious IGA indeed. Hardwood floors, fancy schmanzy foreign food items and lovely customer service in the fruits + Veggie section make this grocery store a winner for anything you might need on your way home.
I picked up chips, and two flavors of ice cream for a BBQ I was hosting on the plateau… it was cheap like borscht (cos I bought the items on sale) and I was a super hero when I arrived.
Clean, organized and a fun place to stop in the country.

Love the deli section and bakery.
has daily hot soups, sandwiches, salads… a little on the expensive side but better prices than going to Starbucks for lunch
The grocery section is good! produce always clean and organized!
meat selection is ok. limited and pricey.
Staff here is excellent!!! always so friendly, willing to help.
