O-Sushi

So we go for sushi, Waitress hard of hearing? & RUDE! .I asked for hot soup, didn’t get it, I asked for lightly breaded tempera prawns, didn’t get it, we asked for teriyaki sauce with noodles, didn’t get it, asked for sashimi salmon & tuna thinly sliced, nope didn’t get it… the empty plates were piling up on the table. we were the only customers… I went looking for waitress only to find her on her cell phone texting in one of the booths, so I proceeded to clean our table off myself, Owner saw this & wasn’t impressed with his waitress, waitress now has smoke coming out of her ears when she saw me cleaning, came over and threw down the bill & walked away, I asked her if she could please wipe the table down, she walked over with the cloth and through it on the table and said do it your F**king self… $ 100 dollar bill & the worst service ever… O-​Sushi — Westwood Plateau — Coquitlam, BC … the Owner is great but some of the girls he hires, (I don’t understand) …the waitress is blonde a little past her shoulders, her hair was so matted up & messy in the back of her head like she just rolled out of bed… I would have sent her home, better yet I would have fired her ass … Never going back ever, spent $ 100 for bad bad service & verbal abuse :(

I have been going here for years… The sushi is consistent and fresh. I encourage you to try different roles such as the Crazy Boy roll or Expo roll. The creamy Shrimp is fantastic.
The staff are always friendly and the service is quick. Mr. O is very nice and always makes my special sauce. I eat sushi all the time all over British Columbia and this place has good sushi. It isn’t a fancy place so I don’t know about dining in but great for take out.

Horrible sushi and horrible service, staff always expects tips even for takeouts, the portions are very small and the sashimi doesn’t taste fresh and the rolls taste like the were prepared the night before and not made fresh

If you havnt tried the red dragon roll or the sexy roll youre missing out… great place especially for takeout and the waitresses are beautiful

Pretty nice place! Quiet, clean a and the waitress is friendly. The sushi is all in small sizes, but really delicious. Not very beautiful work, but it’s worth if you consider about the price.

If I could give a zero or –100 I would, this place is just awful, the worst. Worst food and worst service. The chicken had a terrible chemical smell, the rice was just gross. Pre-​packaged super cheap food, just microwaved. The white girl was incredibly rude and I lectured on her not throwing the food at the customers. AWFUL!

Horrible horrible sushi. It’s dead in there for a reason. Avoid at all costs.

Personally, I don’t find any of the food options in this complex to be anything special, aside from the pizza, and even that’s costly for what you get.
It’s a tiny restaurant with only a handful of tables. It’s pretty empty for the most part, but it can get quite bumpin’ in here on a weekend night, surprisingly.
Nothing to write home about in terms of the food. The sushi is passable, not great, and terribly overpriced.
This is the first and only sushi restaurant I’ve ever been to that had white girls working there. Strangeness aside, the staff is quite pleasant and friendly, and it definitely makes ordering over the phone easier when the person you’re talking to speaks perfect English.
As I used to live across the street, I came here out of convenience. Now that I’ve left the area, it’s unlikely I’ll ever go back.

I always wondered why this place is consistently empty, and how it manages to stay in business. Tonight we took a gamble and went there for the first time. Now I wonder no more.
This is sushi place is terribly over-​priced for what it is. Even if they were to half their prices, I wouldn’t give it more than an average rating. The rolls are stingily small. The ingredients not that inspiring. The nigris are more rice than fish. The sashimi is not particularly fresh.
With dozens of better sushi places just a 5 minute drive away, I don’t understand why anyone would want to eat here.

We eat there quite often. Consistently good local sushi, great service and the owner really cares about his customers. The dinner boxes are my favourite… try the beef teriyaki.

I really should have thought more about ordering from there, I mean I live 3 minutes away and can’t remember the last time I’ve eaten there. Now I remember why.
It started poorly when I entered to pickup my order, and I was literally not said more than 1 word too, and then the server then took my debit card and went through and made sure that the tip function was up on the screen when she passed it back to me. How presumptuous can you get? A tip is just that, a TIP — for service!!! You did not even greet me.
After that I was angry, but I don’t allow that to ruin my food. Unfortuatenly, O-​Sushi ruined my food for me. My rice was literally not cooked through. It was like eating little bullets. How gross. The fish was extra ‘fishy’, something you never want when eating sushi. The fish just never smells fresh there.
The only bright spot was the just okay spicy agedashi tofu.

I go there all the time, food is really good. Try the Red Dragon Roll, my Fave! The staff there is really nice and service is great

I work across Osushi. ITS OK… we don’t really have much option in the strip mall so I go there to get my sushi fix.

After my martial arts class I almost always go for an assorted sashimi platter. My son loves the spicy tuna roll. The staff is always friendly, and remember the regulars. Mr. O! Assorted sashimi to go!
