Togo Sushi

Terrible value and terrible customer service. I ordered sushi for pick up one evening this week. I’ve never ordered a full meal for our family for dinner from this place to go before — I’ve just grabbed a California Roll at lunch. Big, huge mistake. First, they got my order wrong — they didn’t give me the tuna/​salmon sashimi that I ordered — and they charged me almost $ 9 for four measly little pieces of salmon sushi. When I called in to speak to the restaurant, they told me that I didn’t order the salmon/​tuna mix, just salmon. I know what I ordered, I order the same thing for dinner every time I order sushi for take out. They said the mistake could have been on my part. It wasn’t. They were totally unapologetic. The value in the meal was also not there. I paid over $ 40 for our meal and it was pitiful, pathetic sushi. Their chopsticks were also disgusting — they smelled like railway ties — they have clearly been treated with something — disgusting — and totally ruined the taste of the sushi. I would NOT recommend this place at all — poor value, poor customer service, pathetic sushi.

Below average sushi joint. go take out. avocado and California rolls are the same everywhere so it comes down to the rice and rolling which both where no good. I could probably roll better. the mango roll is meh. the real test for me was the «yam tempura» roll. this roll was terrible. it was made with non-​tempura McCain yam fries. I mean cold raw yam fries. I didn’t get anything complicated and there are many different places close by that do these simple orders a lot better.

I mean, this is a mall sushi joint. Personally I don’t expect mall sushi to be all that great. But if you consider the price, it’s a really good deal and all of the ingredients are surprisingly very fresh. The tuna especially! Roll sizes are a tad small but for the price and freshness you can’t beat that if you need a good lunch with your shopping.

Not bad, if you consider the price. It’s convenient to buy your lunch there if u have been in the library for a long time and gets starved.
