The food was good, but the customer service takes one star off. I looked for them and it wasn’t really apparent where they were. They are on the North side of Glen, set back from the street. Definitely worth checking out for the food though.

This is a very tiny Korean Japanese restaurant located close to Coquitlam Centre. There is pay parking on the street and underground parking along the street. It is very cheap to eat a chopped scallop roll, a house roll and a sushi and sashimi bento box at $ 25. All of them tasted great! No bad comments about any of the food that I ordered. I loved the chopped scallop roll a lot! There was a lot of scallops in each piece! Very delicious! I got here at 8:30pm and ordered late, but the food came out quickly. It was a self serve restaurant. I had to get a pair of chopsticks, napkins and soy sauce by myself. The server only brought the food to my table. That was alright. The food was cheap and delicious. That’s all I needed! :D

Great bang for the buck. This is a hidden gem. The location on the Unilocal map is a bit wrong. Try Google Maps instead. It doesn’t look like much from the outside. I had a hard time distinguishing it from a small corner convenience store. The fish is not necessarily the freshest but I think its good enough. Very generous portions. They put a lot of small touches to the food that makes you feel like the price is worth it. For example, the Sushi and Sashimi box is just $ 13.95, but it comes with large portions of everything. They did not skimp on any item. Lots of little shrimp in the ebi sunomono. Tofu in the miso soup. Real sesame leaf under the sashimi. Spicy teriyaki chicken in the salad?!? First time I’ve seen that in a cheap bento box. Tempura was amazing for the price. Acorn squash, sweet potato, regular potato and two prawn tempura. Exceptional value. They speak perfect english… shocking. I’m curious to try the korean dishes. Sometimes at korean-japanese restaurants, the korean food can be much better than the japanese. The japanese dishes are already quite good for the price, so the korean dishes may be even better? They also offer delivery, so if you live in the area, this would be a great way to get a ton of convenient, cheap, tasty sushi.

Great prices! Good place to go for a decent quick meal. They won me over by offering brown rice.

I can never give a place 5 stars, so I’ll give 4 here. I’ve never had a problem with any of my meals from here. Great value for the money. You’ll definitely feel full after eating. My fave is the Sushi & Teriyaki box for $ 12.95. One step up is the Sushi & Sashimi Box for $ 13.95. Good negitoro rolls. Worth every cent. UPDATE2015.09.16– they’ve increased seating capacity for 12 :)

Average at best. The good: price to portion ratio is fair. The place is a take out place with seating for 8 max. As long as you don’t expect grade A fish like you would in top end places… you probably will be just fine. Tried this due to the ratings here… definitely does not warrant 5 stars. Nothing to write home about. I would order from here over sushi town.

Really great restaurant you might miss if you didn’t know it was there. Really affordable and friendly service. Only space for 6 people to eat there so space is limited.

Their specialty is bento boxes and they are really cheap at $ 6 – 7 so I went for their best-seller, the Joy Box. It had deep fried salmon California roll, beef teriyaki, and Korean chicken. It also came with miso soup. There was so much food in this one box and the rolls were big and filling! I can’t believe it’s only $ 7. However, I found the rolls to be too heavy since it was deep fried and the beef teriyaki was too salty. The food wasn’t amazing but for the price, it’s pretty good. I’d definitely go back for quick and cheap meals.
