We like coming here. We often order the taro or honey dew slush with pearls. .it’s a bit pricey than other bubble tea place but they do make great bubble tea.

It was a while ago but I’m still pissed thinking about it… I ordered a «yogurt» slush thinking it was YOGURT and paid $ 6 bloody dollars for a calpico/calpis syrup slush that was so liquidish and full of big ices that they don’t bother to blend long enough. A calpico drink is normally $ 3.5−4 at other shops how dare they charge people $ 6 and was not even good! Most importantly: why call it yogurt when it is clearly no where near a yogurt? It’s deception.

Yum, had a Rocher smoothie(fererro rocher & hazelnut), which was really tasty! It ended up being pricier, just over $ 5 without pearls. But that being said, I’m not sure what other BBT places in the area are charging. I wouldn’t expect it to be over $ 5 though. The atmosphere itself is nice and clean, nice comfy couches, If you plan to drive 10+ minutes further west to Bby /Kingsway area for more BBT choices, I think you should just stick with this one as the cost of gas these days more than make up for the extra $ 1 that these guys charge for BBT(which is tasty). One thing I wish they have are the Asian snacks, at a minimum, the condensed milk toast! :(

Ordered two bubbletea drinks here one time and never again! The worst bbt I’ve ever had — tasteless and watery for both drinks we ordered. Waste of money and would NOT recommend anyone to go here.

Fresh taro!!! A little pricey though. Over $ 5 for a drink with pearls. They seem to do a «drink of the month» regularly now. It’s a good idea since it encourages me to try other flavors… But I usually stick to the fresh taro. Free WiFi! Not a bad place to study if you don’t mind the noise.

The best bubble tea place this area of Coquitlam, perfect for smuggling into the movies. My tastebuds agree with their milk teas. Try the green milk tea and its hints of jasmine in it, although I’m always partial to the plain(black) milk tea with pearls. They’d be 10x better if they dropped the horrid, stale desserts in their pastry case and focus more on serving those salty, deep-fried Taiwanese snacks that go so well with the sweeter milk teas. I like this location a hundred times better than the one by the White Spot square on Lougheed. Service is way friendlier, they have 10% drinks Mon-Thurs before 5PM and their machines seal the drinks better. No leaks! I’m gonna guess they’re run by franchisees as the Lougheed location told me they offer no such 10% off promotions.

LOve it. The best in the valley. Thank god they are here though, because some other places are not too good. This place has a good size selection, and I love the bubbles(pearls). Fruit drinks are made with real fruit. I recomend the Green Milk tea, or the Strawberry Mango.

What: Pearl Fever Address: 4 — 228 Schoolhouse St Food Type: Drinks Atmosphere: Casual, very new age and elegant for a bubble tea house. Almost classy like. Price: Very reasonable. Reservation: none Menu: Small but good selection. They are willing to customize to you dietary needs which is appreciated. Service: Good Food: My banana smoothie was really really good, hit the spot and was a decent price, however, when it came to the Mango berry cheesecake that was another story. It tasted dry, rubbery and chewy. I could tell that it was sitting in the display fridge way past 3 days. This wasn’t me being picky, I have some baking experience to know that this was a cheesecake well past it’s prime. I was too hungry to take it back and complaint, however, I won’t be ordered dessert from there in the near future. I will just stick to the bubble tea. The dessert selection is very bare, however, I can understand that they wouldn’t want to stock much considering that it is always empty which is a shame since it’s inside a semi busy bowling ally and a theatre. I do like the fact that they use fresh ingredients for their bubble tea which makes it Weight Watchers compatible for me.

The best bubble tea for the area of Coquitlam. Right on Schoolhouse Road, connected to Zone Bowling. A nice, upbeat setting, with new décor, comfortable seats, new age setting, not your typical asian bubbletea house. They also accept debit, not sure on credit, as haven’t used it. Many traditional flavours to choose from, and they also have some cakes to eat as well. One of my favorite’s around the area. Hard to not make a stop here for your favorite bubble tea drinks, as they use some pretty fresh ingredients. And just sitting in this setting is a good relaxing feel to waste a good work lunch hour.
