Tim Hortons

I’m from Hamilton Ontario originally where Tim Horton’s was born (and almost literally, you’ll find a Timmies on every corner). Since moving to BC in 2008, I’m seeing Tim Horton’s pop up more in the Lower Mainland which makes me happy and reminds me of home. I’d go to a Tim Horton’s over a Starbuck’s any day (gasp!). This location however is the worst I’ve ever experienced and I’m convinced that if the head office (or what use to be head office) would close this franchise down. Service is horrible, staff are not friendly at all (barely look at you, no greeting, have a bored expression) and tend to get the order wrong. Take pride in what you’re doing!
Today I tried their «Spicy Thai Chicken» soup. Inedible. Completely inedible and was pitched in the closest garbage bin. There was no «spicy». In fact, there was little flavour at all except scalding hot. Granted, it may be inedible at all locations. The sandwiches are messy and drip everywhere. I only go to this location when I am nearby visiting a nail salon but I think I will go to a different location before hitting the salon.

Coffee and donuts are the same but Tim Homei at this location was a bit much… what happen to dress code?

I’ve been here at slow times, busy times, morning, day and night. There have been enough visits to get a representative sample of experiences.
One time I ordered a chocolate milk, which is a packaged product from the fridge, and it felt a bit too warm. However, I tried it anyways; it was putrid and rotten. Their response was to offer me another one instead — no offer of a refund. After that experience I didn’t want to risk it with another one.
While their service has often been good, I can’t help but note many more mistakes and delays here than at other locations both in Metro and across the country that I have frequented over the years. There is another location two minutes West, but it’s currently under construction and reduced to a trailer. Once that is finished renovations it will once again be my preferred location in the area.
Recently, the drive thru has been getting slower and slower. Where it used to take less than two minutes I now find myself waiting almost ten. It’s difficult to go inside at times, which is why the drive thru is chosen. However, looking inside I don’t see it to be much better as far as wait times while I’m waiting in my car.

Worst one I have been to. Service was horrible. The person who attended to me had no sense of customer service. No smile no greeting. Horrible! She couldn’t understand what I even asked for. Did not answer my questions properly. And her face wasn’t welcoming at all. Very bad experience for me. I really hope the manager sees this and train attendants or even get rid of them. Very mad over this visit.

Depending on what you order, this may or may not be the place for you. Coffee and tea are pretty simple and are never a problem. Hot chocolate and french vanilla coffee are never good here because their machines don’t work properly and result in a thick sludge of overly sweet drink that you have to pour out after the third sip. Donuts and timbits are always fresh though.

Extremely disappointing service/​product. Not worth the time to go back to complain. Will dispose of the tidbits. Worried the crushed ones were picked op off the floor. Kettle chips were good but I don’t know why they would use so big a bag for so little chips. Made me feel ripped off. I’m giving it zero stars because I won’t be visiting this store again. I guess I have to give it one star.

Worst breakfast food I have ever had. I had the flatbread breakfast panini and home style hash brown. It was cold greasy and looked like crap. I thought McDonalds was bad but this was 10 times worst. The pictures of it look and probably taste better than the actual food. Complete waste of money. Gave one star only because the donut was edible.
