This is our go to place. There are a lot of sushi places in the area and we have been to most of them. Food is always fresh and tasty. Never had a bad experience. We have eaten in and got take out, always great service. They make you feel like they appreciate your business. Their Yoko roll is tasty, one of my favorites. Great teriyaki sauce. That’s a big thing for us, if the sauce is not great, it’s not worth it. But they deliver in consistent flavor and service. I had a family birthday lunch that they made the food for and everyone was very pleased with the food. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Craving sushi today and came across this little establishment. Was a little hesitant after reading someone else review about food being«inedible» but I thought what the hell. Place is small yet clean, service was accommodating, and the food came quick and was really quite good. I wouldn’t say it was the absolute best to die for sushi around, but overall, I would return. Also wanted to mention that I came near closing, and was worried that the owners would be giving me the evil eye, however I didn’t get that vibe at all. Thanks!

Yoko sushi was one of my favourite sushi joints. except now they’re under new management and it’s crystal clear the new management doesn’t give a damn about customer service or food standards. Not only did the hostess completely ignore my wife, twice, the hostess told me flat out to order a different roll than the one I had asked for. We weren’t told a time to come back for our order, or offered tea or even a seat. As soon as we paid, that was the last verbal interaction we got. When we got home and inspected our meal, it was at best mediocre. I’m not going back to Yoko Sushi. There are better, way less expensive sushi restaurants with friendlier, positive staff around Austin avenue. This is yet another case of a really awesome business being sold, and then promptly ruined by the new owners who expect to capitalize on regular customers despite providing a low, low level of service. Don’t waste your money at Yoko.

My date and I decided to try out this sushi spot since it’s one of the few we haven’t tried along this strip(There’s at least 3 or 4 other sushi spots nearby). We had a few of the special rolls, including the Austin Roll. Having been to many sushi restaurants, including Korean owned ones, I would say this place is average. Nothing was poor, but nothing was out of this world either. I’ve certainly have had worst sushi. Price is also average, ranged from $ 6.95 to $ 8.95 for most of the special rolls. They do advertise free delivery, so that may be a plus over the nearby sushi restaurants if you live nearby.

Had sushi bento for lunch today. One of the weakest places I have been to. Service was slow, food was unappetizing.

another typical, strong Korean-operated sushi op in less busier part of ‘dt coquitlam’, only 5 min, away from the bustlin’ North Road. Plenty of parking in this plaza. Ordered the Dragon Roll and House roll, good-size and well-made, nothing fell apart. fresh crabmeat, and white ginger is also a bonus. This 30-seat resto is clean, spacious, and a nicer ambience than most. They’ve apparently just have a new menu. Washrooms though are just one-at-a-time, and clean too: no mops or extra chairs lying around haha.
