Service was atrociously slow, took 25 minutes to get in and get a pita and get out well after peak lunch hours, with a mere 3 items ordered before me by others who seemed like they had been in there for eon’s. Place is not set up correctly for efficiency. The woman working there I felt bad for, she had to constantly go back and forth from the kitchen in back to make anything, to get this and that. She was working alone and seemed to be out of a lot of menu options and toppings. There was mess everywhere up front with piles of empty containers, cutting boards, dishes strewn in what should be a tidy work space considering how small the operation is. I got the daily«special» which was a falafel pita as advertised on the roadside sign. Upon entry I found out it was the same price as always on the menu… false advertising. Asked for lots of all the veggies minus pickles but she went ahead and covered it with those, so I had to ask for them to be picked off, luckily I am not allergic. There was no pickled turnip available though at this time at this place, which for«pita paradise», not having turnip for shawarma or falafel pita should be considered a crime. For 7.45 $ tax in I could of had much bigger and better elsewhere, this pita probably had more paper and pita wrap than filling. It looked quite sad how skinny it was(forefinger to thumb knuckle size). Falafel pockets themselves were tasty, although she did not cook the falafel to order and instead microwaved them so they were soggy. I wanted to like this place so I can get a quick healthy lunch closer to work then crossing from Woodside to Burnside for the trek to Ray’s. I could have spent the extra 15 minutes driving and still came out with 5 extra minutes of lunch break. I won’t be going back, and highly recommend going somewhere else.
