Starbucks

another Starbucks, another day. This one is close to where I work and the staff are friendly but it is just like every other Starbucks. Which is what I expect and yet I am a little disappointed. this location is fairly busy because while small it really seems like Dundas enjoys their Joe.

Stopped in to grab a quick drink after hiking at the conservation area close by but this was anything but quick.
The two employees working seemed to be more focused on other tasks and talking to a friend than making our drinks. My friend who ordered before me received her drink later than mine.
Despite this, the drink was made correctly and it tasted like it should have

Oh you silly Dundasians… why do you spend your hard-​earned dollars at this overpriced corporate monstrosity when Domestique is just around the corner and Taylor’s is across the road? Neither will ask if you need something to eat with that, and you’ll have the warm sensation of supporting local businesses. Plus their coffee is much better…
Two stars for Starbucks because they serve those chocolate covered pretzel sticks.

This place is quite crowded which sucks at times. Otherwise, the male staff here are wonderful! Very nice and efficient.

Always the same feeling ! Warm and cozy place to hang out with friends or study alone

With the exception of the barista with the Harry Potter glasses that is entirely lacking a sense of humor and/​or personality, this is probably the best Starbucks in town (written by someone with a gold card and whose urine occasionally smells of coffee).
Conversations are typically ripe for eavesdropping, with juicy tidbits around plotted strikes and sex fantasies.
Moreover, there is the famed «dessert on a stick» offered, and the baristas won’t even laugh at you if you request it as such.
Word of caution: that venti crème brûlée latte? 500 calories, my friend. Obesity is not becoming.
