Do not go into Bed Bath & Beyond unless you want to leave your wallet a little lighter. It has good quality brands that last me a long time. The prices are high but well worth it if investing in house items such as bed comforters, cookware, and other miscellaneous items. Don’t buy gimmick items there as they are twice as expensive as their competing stores such as Wal-mart.

I love choices — doesn’t matter what the product is, there’s something about browsing and comparing that pleases me. A recent change in beds meant I could pick out all new bedding — whoo hoo, HAD to go shopping, not my fault! For me, the best thing about BB&B is that not only did I have dozens and dozens of colours and brands to choose from, there was also a wide range of price points, thread count, etc. I could wander from sheets to blankets to quilts and back again, coordinating and debating and changing my mind. Every employee I passed asked if they could help me, and when I said I was just in the«deciding stage,» each one of them told me where they would be located if I needed them. Amazing! When I finally selected the perfect set, I couldn’t locate the extra pillowcases I needed, and a clerk went online, found what I needed and offered to have it shipped to my house at no cost, then went through their entire listing of coverlets to see if anything matched up for me. She also told me I could take everything up to the service desk and open the plastic wrapping to compare the colours out of their packaging and make sure I liked them. At the service desk, they said«of course!» and helped me lay out everything and offered opinions on which rug, which pillow, etc, seemed best. They then assured me that if I got home and didn’t’ like anything after making up the bed, I could return items without question! Does this make me a happy customer? You bet! This was product, price point, and service to the max. Walking out of a store totally satisfied is something that doesn’t happen too often in this world, so kudos to a company that can provide this kind of experience.

They have a high range of products and very friendly staff. This was the only place in the city I could find tiny tongs for our candy buffet, and they were within budget! Bonus! We also have a gift registry here, and it was easy to set up and manage online. Sometimes the store feels very crowded and it can be hard to find specific items, but the staff usually know what’s where, so it’s not really a big issue. I’ve also had several great return experiences here, and that counts for just as much as a sales experience.

Three stars for the range of products and one for the friendliness of the staff. Yesterday, I went to return an item which went easily even though I couldn’t find the bill. Then as I wandered the store, six staff people said hello or asked if I needed help. The linens selection is not as good as Linens + Things was, but it is still the best in town

I hadn’t been into a Bed Bath & Beyond before but upon the recommendations from friends I thought I’d stop in. I’ve recently been on the hunt for décor items for our renovated rec room and thought I might find a few things. That I did. Bed Bath & Beyond is a home specialty store providing home necessities such as linens, bedding, bath, kitchen appliance and utensils as well as art work and many As Seen On TV items. It is a one stop shop if you’re looking to outfit your home. They also have a bridal registry. I was pleased with the selection they offered. I came away with a few picture frames, a mirror, a wall hanging and a ball for my daughter. When I got home only then did I realize I paid $ 50 for a picture frame. OMG! I should have checked the price before I left but I have been coming up short for this particular style and decided to keep it. One thing that bothered me about the store is I felt really small shopping there. I’m not that tall but felt that much shorter because their displays go right up to the ceiling and their floor space is crammed with stock. I think the store has outgrown its space. It’s a challenge navigating the sections when you’re pushing a cart. The store was clean, the staff more than helpful(heck, they climbed up a very tall ladder to get my mirror) but the prices are on the high side. It’s a good place to stop in to see what’s there but if you’re looking for a bargain, you should look elsewhere.
