Think this is the first time I’ve ever given a place a 1 star but unfortunately, it’s justified. Went here for a quick lunch during the work week. Menu is very limited and basically you only have the option of panini’s, pasta and salad. For the pasta, you have a choice of four sauces(two meat sauces, tomato basil and a cream sauce) and pasta options are either penne or spaghetti. For meats, you could pick the pork in a mushroom cream sauce or meat balls). This is what we ate: — Cold cut panini($ 6.95) — salami and another type of cold cut with cheese. Panini is very small and if this is all you order, you’ll still be hungry. — 2x daily feature($ 12.49) — you get a bun, the pork with mushroom cream sauce and pasta with your choice of sauce. My dad said the pork was chewy/overcooked. I tried the pasta with tomato basil sauce and it just tasted like regular pasta to me. Plain is the word that keeps popping into my mind. The main problem I have with this place is the price to quality ratio. Place is so overpriced for the food you get. I feel that I can make this at home and not only would it be cheaper, it would be TASTY. The food is just very uninspiring. Doesn’t give me a homey, Italian cooked from the heart type of vibe. Rather, it’s a cafeteria dish out and take what we serve type of place. Avoid at all costs. They are lucky they are in a remote place and cater to work offices nearby. Otherwise, I don’t understand why you would come here and waste your money.

Despite Broccolini’s’ proximity to my office, I had not heard of the establishment before they issued a Groupon. As a result, I purchased the Groupon and visited Broccolini’s for lunch one day. And perhaps my opinion is sullied by the time of day I visited the establishment. Broccolini’s serves italian food for lunch cafeteria-style, and when anything sits under heat lamps or in chafing dishes for 2 – 3 hours, it’s just not going to taste particularly fresh. Especially pasta. Though I will say that I enjoyed the Italian Sausage that I ordered, and that the caesar salad wasn’t terrible, but could use better croutons.

Love this place for lunch. Always fresh, and quite delicious. You certainly get what you pay for, however sometimes the people could be friendlier…
