Cinnzeo

I avoided any and all things Cinnzeo for quite some time after having a bad experience with their WEM location but you can only pass by this place so many times if you have willpower issues like myself before you just have to give in!
You can get your cinnamon fix many different ways like cinnamon twists, cinnamon buns, containers of the mini buns, and take home packs. I opted for a container of the mini buns and was pretty impressed with how fresh they are. I am always a little skeptical when I see them sitting on that shelf as to how freshly made they really are. I also appreciate how they put the cream cheese frosting on the side. I prefer to dip mine and I really don’t like how they drown the bigger buns in the frosting over at WEM.
What really sticks out for me the most at this location though is how clean it was and how friendly the staff are. You can see all the preparation surfaces from the front of the store and they were all immaculate when I visited today. The young man that helped me had a huge smile on his face and was very friendly. This is a great place in the mall to go for a treat and I really recommend the mini’s if you have kids with you and don’t want to give them a ton of sugar all at once. Give them one or two and take the rest home in the container to discreetly snack on after they go to bed!

Cinnzeo has a location in West Edmonton Mall that I am a pretty big fan of so when I saw this location I had to give it a try.
It didn’t let me down. In fact it tasted better than what I remembered at West Ed but that might be because I hadn’t been there in a while. If you haven’t had one their cinnamon buns it is definitely something else. It’s a great dessert, even a snack.
I recommend everyone try it.

I’m not gonna lie, I had a cinnamon roll from here that might have changed my life… and that’s a huge compliment because I normally don’t eat anything that’s very sweet. It was just so delicious. You can just feel the warm, gooey cinnamon fudge melt all over your mouth. Ugh, I’m getting hungry just thinking about the darn thing.
Eating that cinnamon roll was easily the highlight of my day, a day that included spending 2 hours helping my sister shop for clothes at Southgate… even though she ended up not buying nothing.

If you have never had a Cinnzeo cinnamon bun, you have to go right now. No seriously, go. Now!
Cinnzeo has the most amazing cinnamon buns that I have encountered in my entire life. And I am not exaggerating.
They are so soft and warm and the icing melts on them creating a layer of heavenly goodness. That’s the only way I can describe them!
If you go to the mall on a weekend, you might encounter someone handing out little pieces of cinnamon buns on toothpicks for tasting. Those are Cinnzeo cinnamon buns! When I get a free bite of of Cinnzeo cinnamon bun, my day is made — nothing can bring me down!
You can buy them in packs of four to take home and heat up (which I did last night) or you can buy a fresh one right then and there.
I would recommend sharing one with a friend or a loved one because they are big and they are sweet.
And if you’re on a health kick or a diet, just read the boxes that the cinnamon buns come in — «Indulge, it’s OK». If the box says so, it must be true! Enjoy a Cinnzeo cinnamon bun today! Do it!
