I’m not sure how a flag store could get any better! Do they have flags? Yup! Do they have a ton of flags? You bet. Is the staff super Knowledgeable about flags and really friendly? Sure are!
Honestly, I was just so impressed with this place. I really needed to find flags of all of the provinces, and didn’t even know if flag stores existed. I decided to just type flag into Unilocal,hit search, and lo and behold Discount Flag Superstore came up. I called them, they had exactly what I wanted, and for a very reasonable price. Whatever your flag needs may be or even if you need signs, this is your go to place.

This is a warehouse for all sorts of Canada kitsch. If you’re looking for supplies for Canada Day, this is a great place to come to stock up. There are also lots of gifty things. They’ve got everything from paperweights and Zen water fountains to a jewelry and figurines. What I liked the best about this shop was the wide selection of kites they have, and all kinds of flags. They don’t just stock national flags but a wide variety of thematic ones for front lawns or store fronts.
They sell giant slot machines and video lottery terminals and there’s a side room that’s chalk full of fireworks, from your smallest sparkler to your most extravagant sky production. This is a fun shop to poke around. It’s in a more industrial area of the city, where most other stores sell flooring or piping. There’s lots to look at, if slats of granite and linoleum aren’t your thing.
