For a dive bar they have some great wings & can make a mean caesar. Great place to stop after work for some cheap drinks & food. No expectations to dress us, just come as you are.

This place is a dirty hole. Avoid it. They have unfriendly service, crappy beer selection and they have no problems over serving the already inebriated customers. There is such a seedy element to this place. In the span of 4 days, 2 men were attacked on the sidewalk after closing time. I have nothing against guys smoking weed, but the gauntlet of smokers that you have to wade through to get in or out of the bar is just gross. Ever notice how it’s impossible to get a taxi to come to this bar?

Definitely a dive bar, but that’s what we expected. We were wary to order food here but the drinks were reasonably priced. We went on karaōke night which was very entertaining. I think it’s mostly a younger crowd who go ironically.

This was the worst experience I’ve had at a Pub. All the things that happened to us was very unprofessional. They only had tables for groups of 4 and there was 5 of us so we had to pull a table together and got glares for doing so. When we asked for an extra menu because we were only gave 4 it was tossed at us. There was 5 of us and we ordered a standard amount of food for that number of people. The cook stormed past us and yelled loudly«I don’t have enough room in my kitchen to cook all that food!» We had to eat our food at alternating times so we sat there and watched people eat one at a time. The bill was correct but was all on one tab so when we tried to explain what part we were paying for they got mad and started yelling. They overcharged the last person who payed by $ 20. We only payed it so we could get out of there ASAP. Now I understand why the place was so dead on a friday night because no one goes back there a second time. Food wasn’t even worth it either.

My wife, who is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in zooarchaeology, can tell the difference between a 6000-year-old swan femur and a 4000-year-old duck ulna, but she had trouble identifying the bones in my wings. «They don’t have radiii. That’s really fucked up.»

A real dive that I have passed on Whyte Avenue numerous times, but finally went to this evening for supper and a quick drink. As I suspected, the inside was rather sparse and it was more empty than I thought it would be on a Saturday evening. One of the staff was setting up for what looked to be a big birthday party, so I am sure the place filled up later. Drink prices were very reasonable, as well as for the food. I really enjoyed my steak sandwich, even if it was not cooked perfectly to my request. The fries were home cut, and the onion rings thick and crispy. Service was friendly and competent. I would definitely come back here for a meal and a drink another time.

This is a neighbourhood dive bar on the eastern part of Whyte Avenue. It’s in a strip mall on a one way eastbound side street. I was there on a Saturday night to check it out. Very average décor with a couple pool tables and a foosball table. It’s definitely a younger crowd here. They had a band and a doorman. Drinks were reasonable. A few tv screens. The wings are always really cheap and come with a carrot and celery stick. They make pizzas which looked good and cheesy but I did not try. Servers were quite young and pleasant. The owner gal behind the bar was fine. I gave it an extra star because I found the previous review a little harsh.
