I purchased a Groupon to see Julian Scott in September. I started calling shortly after– always an answering machine. Leave a message, no calls back. Eventually, in Oct, I called a different number associated with the business (not the number listed on the groupon) and was told that Julian was on holidays until Nov 18^th. OK. No one returned any of my messages, so by the end of Nov I started calling again. Still, no response. By Dec, I reached out to Groupon. They started trying to contact the business. 2 weeks later, Julian finally responded, and we set up an appt. When I noticed that the appt would be one week past expiry, I contacted Julian again– and they are now refusing to honor the groupon. Don’t waste your time!

I purchased a Groupon for one of the stylists at this salon. Big Mistake. First of all, it took me two months to get an appointment with her. I was finally able to reach her and book, but 10 minutes before my appointment, someone called me and told me the stylist was running 30 minutes late. Since I was almost at the salon, I went to get a coffee and showed up 30 minutes later. The stylist greeted me by rudely telling me she was busy and would be at least another 40 minutes. She had two customers ahead of me still. Two customers! Hey I am no hair dresser, but even I know two customers would take longer than 40 minutes. I told her I couldn’t wait that long. Then she rolled her eyes and condescended to me: «This is like a doctor’s office. Sometimes you just have to wait.» Huh? Ok, lady, I may be willing to wait an hour or two for a qualified physician, but I most certainly would not for you. You are no doctor DJ, and you already wasted more than enough of my time. Thankfully Groupon promptly refunded my money. Stay away from this place!

I have always had a great experience at LL. I used to be a regular at another salon in the area but after trying LL i fell in love. I like to be a little creative with my hair from time to time but I always have a little nervous feeling when it comes to new salons. Simon was not only extremely professional, but he gave me confidence with the sugestions he provided for my new look. I have never gone back to my old salon. The best part is that the salon is not too expensive and i can always get an appointment very quickly.

The staff have always been great, very friendly and accommodating! I have to say of the past couple salons I have gone to over the years, these guys are the best for customer service! Clean and well kept, though have found parking to be a bit tight as they are located on a corner block and have room for about 8 cars when angle-​parked. The products they use I am not so sure on lately, they support using more green/​less harmful products, so I have bought and used their in-​store products (and go in for hair color treatments) but have found them to be less effective on styling and maintaining the color in my hair.
