Burger is bland. just a typical frozen patty. found the donair messy. not a fan of the sauce. big portions though

I shoulda’ got an extra cup of sauce which was indeed good!
Stopped in for dinner tonight.
Really impressed with the clean, industrial atmosphere. Even the diamond plate bench was more comfortable than it looks!
Decided on a Jumbo cheese donair, but really like the selection. I could certainly see myself stopping in again to try something else.
As for my donair…
It was indeed big.
Well spiced meat. Ample fresh veggies and topped with a nice sweet sauce.
Stacks up well in my growing list of donair shops!

Not impressed thought they had chicken shawarmas but got there an they were chicken donairs. Tried them anyway and was a mistake not much chicken in them. Nothing about them to make me want to ever go back. but you can’t tell until you try for yourself at least it wasn’t expensive

Donairs are ok, definitely better than most in town. Burgers are put together carelessly and the buns are so saturated with who knows what that it falls apart when touching it. The beef itself is pretty good which is a shame since what they do with it is borderline abusive… on the plus side their milkshakes are really good.
If you’re drunk at 2AM coming from the bar it will seem good anyway. Stick to the donairs though…

The hubs and I like this place! The waffle fries are soooo good. This is our go to when we are lazy and don’t feel like cooking. The portions are huge and the price is a great value. Easy to get to, great location, always clean and friendly. Have never had a problem and will keep coming back!

The burger I had was fine.
I went back a second time, and had the bacon ranch fries, small. They give you a very generous portion for a reasonable price.
My son had a milkshake and he loved it!

Messed up my order but made good on it and offered some freebies. Outstanding!

As far as I’m concerned this is the best place to get a burger in Edmonton. The atmosphere may seem a bit chilly but the food is always amazing and the staff are always friendly. I came here often when I lived in the Oliver area. And even now that I’ve moved a little further away I still make the trip down here when I feel the craving for a good burger.
Seeing as they’re open late… why the hell are you even going to McDonald’s or Wendy’s or Fatburger? Go here instead and treat yourself.

Good value for your dollar and HUGE portions.
This is a sure pick for lunch if you work in the area. Staff are friendly and get to know you by name and order but most importantly, service is fast. This is a huge draw for me as I work in the area and many other establishments are slow when lunch hour hits. Store is clean and modern. Everything on the menu is delccious! You can see them cooking your food in front of you too which I like. There are serval TVs inside and oh yeah, they also serve beer!

Very good first impression walking in. Fairly clean place, nice large clear sign directly in front of you. Beer and cooler options if your feeling like something with OH. Great service. These are some very good strengths, but let’s get to how the food tastes.
Went with a combo 5, Marco burger with fries and a pop for 12.50 $. Charged me an extra buck for a Jones soda. Steep! Fries come in a large portion. There are fine, a bit too salty though. Nothing to write home about, but they did the job. The burger is huge, a two party monstrosity. It’s a good burger, but messy as heck as the sauce soaks the bun heavily. Besides that it’s a decent burger, but lacks that homemadiness I’ve come to associate with burger heaven.
They deliver and open until 11pm most day, Friday and Saturday until 1pm.
My assessment? It isn’t on the top tier of burger places in the city. But it’s a clear option in the area. I would go back. I’m a fan, but admit it isn’t the best in Edmonton. 3.5 stars, round up for an overall favourable presentation!

I stumbled upon Marco’s when I first moved into the city and loved it! It appears to be busier on Friday or Saturday nights; post bar meal, but otherwise it’s not busy. The staff is always friendly and the food is satisfactory for fast food. Try the Crispy Chicken burger, it’s tasty!

Generously fullfilling! Such tiny place but love this place. They don’t hold back on the meat of their donairs! Though a little bit on the pricy side yet so much worth it. The 12″ is $ 10 and literally went and filled the tray all the way across look at the picture :) You don’t eat in this place with one hand, and definitely don’t eat in this place with half filled stomach!
Nice and friendly staff! You can’t go wrong on this place. I’m from Calgary and I would definitely go out of my way to just eat here again when I visit!

The patties at Marco’s Famous aren’t the best or anything, but the bang for your buck is very good indeed. Not bad for a fast food burger. Not bad at all.
