Everyone knows the Michael’s schtick — everything is 30 — 50 percent higher than elsewhere in town, but it’s oh so convenient — and there is a ton of variety. I am certain anyone shopping at Michaels regularly waits for the sales and uses their weekly 40% off coupon.
That being said, when I need to shop at Michaels, this is the one I am going to.
I had become so accustomed to poor customer service at another location in town, that when all of my questions were answered politely and I was engaged in friendly banter at check out — my socks were blown off!
This was such a pleasant surprise, I came back twice in one week to find it wasn’t a one-off. The service REALLY is that friendly here!

This will be a very short review. Basically, it’s a Michael’s. I go in constantly for stickers for various events. I also buy my helium tanks here; and always use a 40 or 50% off coupon. I like that you can get the coupons texted to your phone now, by the way. Very handy! If you go mid-week (especially during the day) it’s pretty quite. Weekends can be a bit of a line up at the tills. While I prefer the lay-out of the West End location better, this one is just fine.
