Best roof top patio in town. The restaurant has downsized since last year, losing it’s bottom floor, but it’s still roomy on the 2nd. Good beers on tap. Food is excellent. Much improved since early days. Park underground for convenience.

Went here around 10pm last Saturday night and had a wonderful time up on the rooftop patio. It started out warm and then cooled off– but they turned on the heaters so it was a comfortable temperature! A girlfriend and I ordered drinks– her a $ 4.50 beer, and I a $ 7.50 mango daiquiri. They were satisfying and reasonably priced. We split a medium pizza which was decent for a not-pizza place and also an order of sweet potato fries. We were pleasantly surprised by the food quality based on mediocre reviews. Service was good at the start then a little sparse near the end of the evening, but overall it was a pleasant evening out that I would repeat!

Been here once. Got old regular pub. Nothing stood out as far as drinks or our food. Everyrhing was okay. I would probably go again.

We are sitting in O2 right now. We ordered Dill Dip and Sweet Chili wings. Amazing. The wings are better than We have had at most locations for their wing specials. Our server was patient with us while moving tables trying to decide where to sit. We ordered Canadian Iceberg drinks. The waitress came right away with our drinks and we did not wait long for food. Excellent service! We will recommend and come back to O2.

I come here because it is at a convenient location and one of the few bars on Whyte that show hockey games WITHVOLUME if only the food here was better… service isn’t bad, but every time I’m here this place seems deserted

We stopped in here on a beautiful sunny day. They have an awesome roof top patio! Our service was great! I had ordered a rare steak sandwich. Which ended up being a well-done steak. Our server noticed the mistake as I cut into it. She offered to take it back and bring out a new one. I was very impressed! She even took it off my bill. The food is typical pub fare. It’s good but does not really go above and beyond expectations. There was no wait for drinks to be replenished. We over all had a great time.

Been here twice. Both times for 35 cent wings. They are always overcooked but worth the price. Good beer. Good service. Oh… I look forward watching Oilers here. One thing this bar doesn’t lack is tvs. Look forward to eating cheap wings while watching McDavid.

Came by on Wednesday wanting some great food, and suds, we arrived and waited for service. About 10 minutes later I seen the bartender pour the wrong liquid into the glasses. When I asked the waitress about it-she said she ordered the correct drinks but the bartended must of not heard her. We waited another 5 minutes for the correct drinks and then ordered some chicken wings. WOW that was another long wait, I was going to cancel the order and then they finally arrived. The wings cost 11 – 12 buck, I guess they got rid of their daily wing special. Poor service, not enough staff attending to customers properly. Love the patio but still need some level of service. We ended up getting the wings packed up and I gave them to some homeless women on whyte ave who was pushing a shopping cart-at least somebody appreciated it! It was just before 5 pm when we left so it was not exactly rush hour.

Only come here during spring/summer when the patio is open. I love this place… Me and my friends come here like more than twice a week. Drinks always comes suitable with the season. Servers are great and ambiance is better than the O2’s on Jasper.

We were the only table in the place on a Monday afternoon aside from two customers sitting at the bar and the food took over 30 mins to arrive. Our server was texing out in the open, on the floor and we had flag her down for more drinks and to check on our food. I understand that the place is dead, but it is really unprofessional to be texting in the open in front of customers. We ordered the mushroom swiss burger, chicken club sandwich and jerk chicken pizza. I was told not to expect alot from this place, but thought to give it a shot anyways, since THENEXTACTPUB across the street was at capacity. This was the worst pub food I have ever tried.EVER. It was gross. Fries were stale and tasted like old oil. Definetly not woth $ 15 for a burger/sandwhich. I would of been better off and more satisfied at Mcdonalds. I will say that this place does have good drink specials, lots of tvs showing sports and ample space for big groups. However, I would personally stay clear from the food.

Just a regular bar with regular bar food. Three things that I really like about it and give it 4 stars are: –their rooftop patio during summer –while all other places are full on the weekend, these guys always have tables –never too loud, at least downstairs Service is alright, not too good on slow weekday nights though. Always some drinks and food specials.

Grabbed a drink before a Fringe play on the holiday-central 02’s rooftop patio. Server Alyssa treated us royally. A place above the well-travelled throng to pretend you’re in Belize.

Less than impressive. Mediocre service paired with questionable food. I had shrimp tacos which were ok. My hubby had a fried chicken burger that tasted like donuts. It was disgusting. The Drinks weren’t anything special either. Their bartender needs to take a class on how to mix drinks. Long Island ice tea is not hard. Overall I wouldn’t come again or recommend it. Definite pass.

Every time I come here the service is really slow and the food is mediocre. This time I got loco bread, which comes with a side of pizza sauce. The pizza sauce was basically a solid when it should have been liquid and looked and tasted extremely questionable. It’s not a place to go for conversation either. The music is loud, so in turn the guests are loud and then it’s this vicious cycle of noise. You need to yell in order for the person sitting right next to you to hear. It’s not a terrible place, but there are far better places to go down Whyte.

We came here for dinner earlier this evening. The restaurant was practically empty– most of the crowed was on the roof top patio. The food was surprisingly good. We had the O2 tap out pizza and chili and lime wings. As for our waitress, she appeared very flustered and reminded me of a chicken running around with it’s head chopped off. She didn’t even give me a refill of diet Pepsi. Overall, it was okay here and I would definitely bring friends here in the future.

It is an okay place to grab a Bulldog on a really hot day when you have time to kill, but that is about it. I have been here several times. The service is always sub-par. I am generally a patient person when the place is busy, but two hours to have lunch at late afternoon on a weekend? I didn’t time it but I am pretty sure it was a half hour before we even got our first drink. I have gotten into the habit of eating somewhere else before going out for drinks at any O2’s in the city. Sometimes the food is «meh» and other times just inedible. This isn’t a place where things are made fresh. If it can be frozen and deep fried, it appears on O2’s menu! This particular location seems to cater to a younger crowd. Management team, please spend the time and the money on staff that wants to be there and is willing to take care of your customers!

Ok, ok… I must admit this place is much better then I had assumed it would be. The décor is that wood filled, Rocky Mountain feel. The wait staff attentive. When I was in it was quite busy, mostly a younger(20’s) crowd, but without the *bags that the night club scene has; just relaxed and fun. I(of course) ordered wine and they actually had 3 different bottles. None spectacular, but ok for a sports bar/pub place. I didn’t have anything to eat off the menu but I will definitely return. I have to admit, it is far and above better then the O2’s from the North/West side. I can see this being a fun place to catch a game!

02’s on Whyte is a newer restaurant and bar that opened up in the old Chili’s location. This three level establishment has a trendy, modern décor and great staff. The main level has a island-style bar and booth and high top seating. Great for popping in for a drink off Whyte. the second level is covered in big screen TVs. EVERY wall, every corner has a big LCD flat screen — PERFECT for watching UFC fights or hockey games. We brought our staff here once for a huge staff party. We did run into some issues trying to book a section for about 20 of us(they wouldn’t let us book the patio at all) But the manager called me back and said he’d make arrangements for us to book up a section in the main level. That was nice of him and we ended up having a really really great time, ate good food and enjoyed ourselves immensely. During the Fringe Festival this summer, my boyfriend and I popped up to the patio at around 6pm. The patio is definitely one of the best on Whyte. It’s a rooftop patio so it’s very big. There is a bar and high top and table seating. Around the back there is very nice patio sofas and tables for lounging with friends and cocktails. My boyfriend and I ordered dinner — he got a chicken burger with an extra side of sweet potato fries and I got the club sandwich with soup. The menu is diverse and there’s definitely something for everyone. The food came out in a timely manner and the portions were enormous! My club had actual grilled chicken breast — not cold cuts, and the soup was rich and flavourful. The server was polite and attentive.
