I recently attended a funeral here due to the passing of my hubby-to-be’s grandmother; the exterior has parking in the front for family and parking in the back for others. The interior is brightly lit with a variety of different rooms; the room we were in had a small space for family to gather while the main area for the services was being prepared. The main area was fairly large with many pews; the casket lay at the front beside a podium where one of their staff gave the service. The reception occurred in a hall just off of the funeral home; that area was also brightly lit adorned with faux flower arrangements as with real and many tables for family to join and eat while reminiscing about the deceased’s life. Staff & service overall was great.

It’s not easy to plan a funeral after losing a loved one. The staff at Park Memorial are knowledgeable and will work with you on all the details. When we had a death in the family, our family met with the staff. They provided lots of information and asked questions to help with the planning. The information was regarding the service, but also about government processes on taxes and pension. The family could decide on the caskets in their viewing area. They were thorough to explain things, had menus from restaurants and could coordinate the timing of the meal, and recommend florists. They were helpful and especially understanding of Chinese traditions and values. They spent over an hour meeting with us. During a difficult time for family, it’s appreciated that the details will be taken care of. The facility itself is older and not as nice as others but still lovely.
