Very friendly service and a reasonably clean restaurant(I chuckled a bit when I saw the Robin’s Donuts sign on the washroom door though). The onion cakes were excellent. My beef phở was average. There was a decent amount of meat and noodles, and it was very hot, but the broth was lacking in flavour. It tasted strongly of anise and not much else. I would not avoid the place but would not go out of my way to come here again.

Very disappointed and wasted my $ 12 as I have never had vietnamese food and actually hated it! My co-workers were going to pick up take-out for lunch so I thought I would try something since they were going. I ordered the vermicilli with spring rolls and grilled pork. How can this dish go wrong? The spring rolls were not crispy but hard as rock, chewing it actually hurt my teeth. They looked like they were made from the dry rice papers maybe yesterday and then deep-fried again? The filling contained lots of meat and was way too salty but I needed the fish sauce so it wasn’t so dry. They were cut up pieces and I did not eat them all. The grilled pork looked good but they too were hard and dry and too salty. I thought there were too few pieces of meat for the price I paid. They were also skimpy on the lettuce and carrots, there were no cucumbers but lots of bean sprouts and a fair quantity of rice noodles. Although I only tried this one dish, I would not think about eating anything from this place again. I had an upset stomach all afternoon into the evening.

Decent little lunch spot. Spring rolls and green onion cakes both above par. Very tasty Phở, surprisingly good Tom Yum and the spicy beef on rice was very flavorful. There when No traces of MSG. I will return when in the area.

If I could give 3.5 stars I would. The spicy chicken noodle soup here is great, and their vermicelli bowls are pretty decent. They’re super busy at lunchtime so if you’re not here before the lunch rush you’ll be waiting!

I was so excited to go here after hearing good reviews and even my realtor suggested we go. I went at lunch time and it was busy, but we got seated right away. We didn’t get our menus for about 5 minutes, but hey it was busy. I ordered the satay beef soup the one everyone raves about .it came about 10 mins later cold! I have never had cold phở’ nothing worse than cold soup. Then about 30 mins later both my son and I had stomach cramps after :(I have a strong stomach I can eat very pungent foods bit this place gave me and my son cramps with many trips to the bathroom :(

I’d give it 5 stars(the phở soup tasted great), but I left with a bad stomach ache immediately after eating there.

Great place. If you can get past the retro robins donuts décor, you’ll love the food and service. This truly authentic food. Lots of flavor in this hidden gem.

Service is always prompt, courteous and always a family feel. Food wait time is nice and short, hot and tasty! I’m not a soup person, was invited for a lunch here, and have been going back ever since. My fav is #3 which is a stir fry, and #45.
