Quizno’s

One word gross. Was about to take a bite of my sandwich when I turned it over, thank god. The bottom had a big mold spot on the bun. Never again. Should have taken a picture to post it but I was too pissed off. Girl behind the counter apologized and offered to make a new one but after one moldy sub that was enough. Especially for a person allergic to mold. No refund offered. Never again. That goes for the whole Quiznos chain. Disgusting.

Man I miss the old Quizno’s. Or maybe this is just a bad one. Run by un-​hygenic, cheap people.
The service was great. The food was actually quite good. They did the sub and flatbread pizza we ordered quite nicely.
But I sure miss the Quizno’s that automatically put hot peppers in with your sub. The pickled banana peppers that are oh so tasty. We asked for some. They forgot to give «E» some, and only gave me a few. I miss when you would get about ½ dozen of them and could munch on them while you ate your meal.
I like restaurants that allow you to get your own soda, and offer free refills. Dear owner, if you are so cheap you have to charge $.50 a refill for a cup of soda that costs pennies, put the damn machine behind the counter then. Cheapo.
One thing we didn’t miss was the eyelash in E’s flatbread pizza. That is just plain nasty. I have a thing about hair in food. Makes me wonder what else has managed to get in there that I cannot see.
We will never go back to this one. However, we quite enjoy our Quizno’s fix once in awhile and will go to other restaurants that don’t have issues with food handling, and aren’t so damn cheap. I hate cheap… your food is expensive enough. If a few peppers and a refill on pop is going to be a burden on you financially, you are doing it wrong.
Gave 2 stars because the hair-​free food was great.
