We go to Ricky’s South Common every weekend for Breakfast. The service is amazing and the food is the best! Great job everyone in the kitchen. You never have to wait long for food even when they have a full house. The managers are doing a great job, you will see them around saying hello and helping to keep everyones cup full of hot fresh coffee. Marina the waitress is one of our favorites as she’s so kind and positively infectious. Anyways This place and all their staff are the best!!! We will see you soon. This is the best Ricky’s in Edmonton and area, And The only one we will eat at.

I’m going to be honest, I think the Ricky’s chain is okay. It’s good breakfast food, but a little lack lustre & higher in price compared to what you can get from the locally owned establishmets in town.
Last time we visited, I had the Belgian waffle with peach topping, which was very good. The waffles are just the way they should be — crisp on the outside and so light and fluffy on the inside. My hubby goes for the chicken & waffles, and I must say — the chicken is so tasty; chicken breast cutlets, battered, fried and crisp.
This location always seems to be busy when we visit, but even with a long line the wait is always under 15 minutes, which is testament to how quickly they’re moving inside.
I should note: My parents LOVE Ricky’s & not just any Ricky’s… when we go for breakfast it MUST be this Ricky’s.
They say this location has the tastiest food and coffee and the best service. They visit at least once every two weeks, so they must be doing something right.
