Amazing little natural body and face care store. They do not test on animals and seem to have it together when being environmentally conscious. They follow a toxic free movement which you can be a part of online and even score a free product 6 times a year. I love their soaps. The smells are nice and subtle and they use lots of essential oils and calming ingredients. The store smells good but not overpowering where you would get a headache. It is also really calming. They are renovating the location right now so they are in a kiosk right outside the original location. The staff are always so sweet and are willing to recommend products that fit you skin type. They are also very knowledgeable about what they do sell. I enjoy their non-pushy approach to sales. My favourite products are their awesome line of bar soaps. So many awesome combos you can’t have enough!

Ever since I bought men’s deodorant from their store in Banff, I have been coming back here to get more of it. I did buy one of the oils in the past but the roll on part broke and the oil spilled. It’s too bad as it did help with headaches. The store has lots of fragrant items in it. I like that you can smell the samples and try lotions before buying too. The sales associates are always willing to help if needed. The deodorant might be a popular item as they only a few on the shelf of they don’t put much stock out. It’s more expensive(almost $ 9) than the buying other deodorant but my husband is a fan of it. They ask for your email address to include you on the mail list. The good thing is I’m not bombarded with daily emails and they aren’t frequent but nice to know of items and any deals.

I try to give these guys my business because they not only have a lot of fantastic, all natural products, but they are also Alberta based, Canmore in fact. I shop here at Christmas a lot, because I know several people who prefer all natural. Plus they’re not just about soap. They carry a huge variety of deodorants, moisturizers, bath salts, lip balms, and baby products. There’s lots of stuff I know I’m forgetting to mention. My personal favorites are the tea tree oil blemish busters, pumpkin soap, and their cold and flu kits. I HIGHLY recommend the cold and flu kits – for yourself or anyone you know that needs some TLC come flu season. Worth every penny, and I can’t think of anyone who wouldn’t appreciate one. Be aware that their prices are pretty high. All natural doesn’t come cheap. Also note their products are pretty potent. You can smell this store all over upstairs Phase One, and it’s a little hard on some people’s sense of smell, but I’m not sure if that can be helped.

I’ve shopped at Rocky Mountain Soap before, so I am familiar with the products and had a list of items with me when I went in. I’m on the road to replacing all of my products with all natural products, so I was buying quite a few things. Needless to say, I still ask a lot of questions to make sure what I’m buying is right for me. Danielle G(according to my receipt) was working and was a great help. I asked many, many questions and she was very knowledgeable and gave me lots of information and detail to help me make my decisions. She was doing other things in the store so left me to browse on my own, but was always ready when I asked the next question. She was personable and it was more like talking to a peer than«someone at the store». It’s always nice to see employees of stores that actually know what they’re talking about and who are familiar with the products. I walked out with $ 100 worth of stuff and saw a few other things I want to buy on my next trip to the store! Great products and great service.

Want to smell great??? Shop here. No really, the fragrances of these soaps are enough to keep me going back for more. One of the wonderful things about this shop is that they have selections for men, ladies, and even babies. Products from here make wonderful gifts. The soap products here are not the cheapest around, but then again your skin won’t smell like youve been shopping at the dollar store either.

Rocky Mountain Soap Company is a Canadian 100% natural soap company. Like Nicole, I like to support Canadian companies and The Body Shop has just gotten too frilly frou frou with their seaweed this and blue corn that. Most of their products contain only a few ingredients that you can easily recognize, like beeswax and essential oils. I would recommend their body butters and chapsticks(you can never have too many chapsticks!), and their giftsets would be perfect for Christmas.

Okay. I’ve never heard of this place before so when I walked by it I was interested in their products. The store itself is really cute; it’s almost rustic. It has a wood cabin kind of feel; natural and earthly just like their products. I walked around and smelled their body butter and hand butter sticks. They all have that natural bees wax smell; which smells interesting. It has a distinct smell and some may like it and others may not. But they have some body butters that have other natural ingredients to hide the smell of the wax if you are not a fan of it. I really like the non-scented one but then I found a cinnamon one called Spicy Mandarin and it smells really nice. I also picked up some of the hand butter and I really like it. It may take some time to get used to the smell because it’s really different from any other cream/butter that I’ve used; but I find that it really makes my skin soft and on the days my hands are really dry it works well to relieve my problem. I also found this stick of Breakout Buster that I had to ask the lady about. I asked her if it really helps with blemishes and she said it does. Well I wanted to find out for myself. I’m 27 years old but I still get blemishes and I feel the need to pick at them, which just makes matters worst. Well I’ve had these two ugly«blemishes» that I’ve hacked away at; I’ve been trying to put stuff on it to keep them from drying out or for them to go away. Well I remembered that I had this Breakout Buster stick so I decided to give it a try. I put some on last night and believe it or not they’re almost gone! They’re on their way to healing and I’ve only used it once. The lady who worked in the store said she uses it the moment she feels something coming out or if she notices a read area forming. You can also use it for cold sores. I also decided to ask the lady what I could use for my really dry and rough cheeks. She suggested washing my face with either goat’s milk soap or a pumpkin one that they make. I’ve heard that goat’s milk works well so I decided to give it a try. Well I didn’t have to buy a whole bar because she gave me a decent sized sample. She also gave me a sample of face cream to try out. Well I used both products last night and this morning my rough cheeks are not so rough. They’re not smooth like a baby’s bottom, but I’m sure if I keep using the soap and the cream my problem will clear up. The great thing about this store is if you are unsatisfied with their products you can just bring it back and they will refund your money. They are that confident in their products. They have a section of babies and for men but they carry a lot of stuff targeted for women. They also have a fast selection of soaps and you can just ask for a sample. I really want to try out the pumpkin one the next time I go back. I have to say I’m really excited about this store. The sales woman was SO nice, extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. Their stores also do a points system and for every 100 points you safe $ 5.00. I bought about $ 24 with of products and I received about 32 or 34 points. The woman also gave me a card with a list of chemicals to watch out for when shopping for similar products(soap and creams). I think I found a new store to be my soap and body butter supplier! But wait you haven’t heard the best part yet! It’s a Canadian company!

Rocky Mountain Soap Co. is a good ol’ Canadian company. I like to support Canadian companies whenever possible These guys carry all natural products that include homemade soaps that are truly one-of-a-kind. They also carry your typical soap store products such as body butters, bath products, lip balms(which are fantastic, by the way) and others. I’m not a big fan of aroma therapy stuff so I stay away from those products. I’m not much for the zen movement, if you know what I mean. But the rest of their stuff is nice. It’s nice to know that you are using natural stuff, especially when every other day we find out that something else in the world is bad for you. I like Rocky Mountain Soap Co. If you haven’t been, give it a shot!

I love the products from Rocky Mountain Soap Co. You can find them all over the city in health stores and spas. I didn’t know they actually had their own store, but there’s a giant one in West Ed filled with their all-natural products — homemade soap, body butters, aromatherapy bath and body products, lip balms and more. Seriously, their aromatherapy bath salts are the best I’ve ever used. They’re about $ 3 a pouch, good for one full hot bath, and, believe me you, it’ll be the best bath you ever took. The scents are gorgeous: invigorating, calming, relaxing, rejuvenating. Not just empty New-Age Zen lingo either. This stuff delivers the state of mind and body it states on the package. There are so many big commercial products full of additives and extras, that dry the skin and leave a film of who-knows-what on it. It feels good to support a Canadian outfit that produces something of quality that’s good for both you and Mother Earth.
