Shoe Masters

I went here to get my boots fixed and wanted to get an estimate of how much it would cost. The man quoting me $ 75 to put the rubber back on the bottom heel of my boots. I told him that was how much paid for them and that it was okay. He then told me I paid at least $ 200. Lol. Said it was fine I didn’t want to put that much money into them, he offered me a «deal» of $ 70. Thanks but no thanks. To be fair off the get go I ended up going to another shoe repair place and did not get my boots fixed here. So his work could be great. I gave up and was just going to buy more when a friend told me to check out Downtown Shoe Repair, and I’m so happy I did! The fella there ended up charging me $ 30 for the same pair of boots. Yup. So I took my other two pairs to him as well! Lol. So make the journey across the river and save your money!

I had couple of great experiences here with getting my high heels resoled and new rubber on the heel, great job was done, they looked brand new when they were done, pretty decent price

Good work at a decent price.
They charged $ 15 for new heels on a pair of boots, and $ 10.00 for new lifts on my mules. I was asked to pay up front. No GST if you pay cash.
It’s a bit cluttered and disorganised. I was asked to help look for my own boots. Showing my claim ticket did not help.
Oh well, they’re nice guys and I’ll continue to give them my business.

Stopped in here earlier today to get new heel ends and soles put on my shoes. Shoe repair is a dying art, so I was excited to find a place similar to the one that was in Southgate Centre that recently closed. I popped in, fully expecting to be picking them up later in the week, and I was 100% okay with that. As long as I had them by Saturday afternoon I was a happy camper! He asked when I needed them by, and I said that I could be around tomorrow if possible, but Saturday was fine as well. He asked if I was shopping at all, and I said we were just going for lunch. He took my shoes, and said to come back when we were finished! $ 45 and 30 minutes later I was walking out with my shoes done! The rubber looks like it’s decent quality on both the heel and the sole, which is nice! They actually look like they have more grip on them than when I originally bought them! Very impressed and will definitely be back here!
