Tony Roma’s

This place feels like a step back in time, really. The food is really good, but the ambiance feels dated. Our server was nice and dealt with our large group rather well, however. Tony Roma’s locations are a great place for lunch in general, and in the mall it’s the best place for a sit down dinner, most likely!

Good food. My husband obsessed over their ranch style beans. Didn’t like the super loud music though.

Three of us went to the bonnie doon location. Two ordered ribs and one ordered a sandwich. Only one plate of ribs came out and the server said the kitchen screwed up and only made one. The one plate of ribs that came out was cold. The manager came over to tell us it was the waitress’s fault and she never rang it in. Two hours from the time we got there to getting our food I wouldnt go back, definitely issues all over this place

This location used to be decent, but it has gone on a rapid trip downhill in the past little while. The last time I went in the service was just horrible. The waiter took forever to come get our order, which I could understand if the restaurant was pumping, but it was lunchtime on a weekday at Bonnie Doon… There’s no way you could ever apply the adjective pumping to that, believe me. The food took a painfully long time to get to us — maybe 20+ minutes. When it did come, I asked the waiter to bring some small plates so that I could share with a friend and he completely forgot about it and proceeded to go and chat and laugh with his manager for about 10 minutes. I repeatedly tried to catch his eye, but nope he was just too busy having a gossipy time with management (who should know better) to notice little old me. On top of all of this, the waiter smelled horrible. I mean it’s his right to clean his body, or not as the case would be, but it’s incredibly off putting for someone who is trying to eat a meal to have your B.O. wafting around. I don’t want to put a fry in my mouth and taste your armpit. But maybe that’s just me.
I wish that I could say that it was just this one occasion where this happened, but the service is consistently terrible and slow. Don’t bother coming here.

If I could give half stars I’d likely rate this restaurant a little higher. Although it’s not gourmet, high-​end dining, it’s good, consistent and affordable. My friends, family and I have been going to this Bonnie Doon branch for several years. If you are not aware, they have a «birthday club» and you just have to fill out one of the cards they have there to join. You’ll receive a birthday card in the mail, about a month prior to your birthday and it’s good for a free meal when combined with at least one other regular priced meal. It’s a great way to get friends and family together.
The service is good and the atmosphere is that of a friendly, family restaurant.
The Riblings are my favourite and they’re delicious! Make sure to order the variety of sauces that are available. I’ve never strayed too far from the Riblings but I have tried a few of their burgers and really enjoyed them. They also have some great side dishes; French fries: great! Baked beans: great! Fried, breaded asparagus: great! Mashed potato’s: very good!
And they will bring the birthday person a free dessert with a candle, so you can really embarrass them!

I can’t understand how this restaurant has only a one star rating! We go all the time and ALWAYS have a great experience. They also cater to my 2 year old daughter which is a huge bonus in my books! And the food is always brought to us very quickly and is always delicious! I will continue to frequent there and also I work in the same mall and refer it to my clients when they are looking for somewhere to have lunch or dinner.

I gave it one star out of sympathy. The beef salad was straggly pieces of beef, probably left over, and lots and lots and lots of lettuce. If you love lettuse you will adore tr. othwise go sonehere else.
