Had an excellent mani-pedi here! Friendly staff and they did a great job, very professional and quick

Very good pricing, friendly/fast service, lots of colors to pick from. Me and my boyfriend had pedicures, our feet are very smooth and they give good leg/foot massage as well! I would recommend this place, and I look forward to coming back. Please note on this site it says Monday to Friday but I went on a Saturday and it’s open! Not sure about Sunday’s though.

I usually go to Sophie’s because they are quick, cheap and do and good job. I was here recently, and only one of those seems to ring true anymore. I paid $ 70 for a full set of gel nails, which was more expensive than expect based on their price list. Within two days, the nails had started lifting, and the gel was wider on all nails than my actual nail bed. The gel is also lifting off the tips, so badly that I have filed them all down. I considered calling and getting Sophie’s to fix them, but with an operation like this I don’t think it would do any good. It all depends on who your tech is.

Just got my nails and toes done here as a walk in. I’m not sure who my nail tech was, but she was very polite and took her time. I received a nice foot and leg massage with a hot towel afterwards. Normally when I get shellac gel sets the tech only puts two coats, I received three for both nails and toes. The shape is 98% perfect, I’m just super picky and my expectations are pretty high. But for a walk in that I figured I’d give a shot, she did well. I am likely to return. Before tip, it was $ 105 for a full gel set with shellac color polish, and for shellac toes with pedicure. I was in there for an hour 20.

Drove 30 mins to checkout the place got gel nails and a pedicure everything was very rushed, my pedicure was done in 15 mins, and they talked in their own language quite loudly while serving customers which was very uncomfortable and unprofessional but whatever atleast my nails looked nice

I have gone to this nail salon many times but I will never step foot in this place ever again! I came in with my mother in law to have a few pedicures and at first I was really surprised that they didn’t even say more than four words to us and continued talking among themselves in their language which really doesn’t bother me. What does bother me is that they were talking about me, and laughing! I am allergic to mosquito bites and my legs are quite scarred. My pedicurist actually pointed at my scars and turned to the pedicurist beside her and said something in her language, he even stopped what he was doing and looked at my scars. She then laughed hysterically! I have never seen anything so rude in my life! I may not understand what you are saying but I can read body language and I’m not fucking stupid!

Just got shellac manicure done and I am really impressed. Great customer service, cheaply-priced and detailed work. Definitely a gem!

Ive been in twice now for a full set, pedicure, then a fill. My first full set was amazing. Not one broken nail or issue for A WHOLEMONTH!!! that’s really amazing. It was Gelish polish. My Pedicure was ok, not really worth the price they were super nice though but I didn’t feel like it was anything special. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone!

As I find myself practically living in Edmonton these days, I have been slowly replacing my favourite things from Calgary so that I can find them in Edmonton as well when I am here. Last weekend, I was looking for the perfect affordable nail salon. Something I’ve noticed in the past is that when I finally hear about the coveted affordable nail salon that actually does a great job, I go to look them up and find they don’t have a very user friendly website, or any at all, and it can honestly be a huge pain to call someone just to ask their prices. I enjoyed that I was able to look at Sophie’s comprehensive list of services before booking. Last weekend, I booked a regular manicure. I showed up in the morning, and it seemed I was the first customer of the day as it was pretty quiet(and early) on a Saturday. The news was on, and I was offered coffee/tea by the friendly staff. I chose from like, a thousand different OPI varieties and finally settled on «Here Today… Aragon Tomorrow.» The manicure itself took maybe half an hour, with polite chit chat with my friendly aesthetician. I then was taken over to the nail dryers for quite awhile which were boring, but left me with a shiny hardened nail. My manicure came out to be only $ 20 which is the most reasonable I have come by! I think that next time I may opt for shellac, and hopefully it would help me get over my fear of shellac manis after a poor experience in Calgary… I found the folks at Sophie’s reasonable and i was very happy with my nails. Will visit again. Bonus points for being two blocks away from my dwellings when I stay here!

Went to Sophie’s Nails for the first time a few days ago and although they did a good job on my nails themselves, I was disappointed in the fact that I made an appointment and was not actually taken for my service until almost 45 minutes later. When I called to make the appointment, I even asked if they were busy and I was assured that they were not. The price was no different than any other places I’ve been to – not exactly what I’d call«affordable» and definitely not worth it for the amount of time I wasted waiting around. I’m a loyal customer when I find a place I like, and because I like my nails I’m willing to go back one more time to see how my next experience is. Maybe it was just an off day for them. I’ll update my review after that and I hope the staff there reads this as well as their other reviews and makes adjustments accordingly.

I like Sophie’s. I have been there twice and will book my third appointment this week. They are flexible with appointment times and I have never had to wait when I arrived. The prices are reasonable and I am happy with the quality of the acrylic nails I received(another place I visited previously made them too thick, resembling chiclets gum). My sister-in-law had a pedicure and she was please with the results also. The massage chairs do look comfortable; if I wasn’t so ticklish, I would get a pedicure too just to sit in the chair! I would recommend Sophie’s to anyone.

I really enjoyed Sophie’s Nails! I think its a great little place on the south side that is extremely affordable and they do a great job! I got my toes done before I left for San Fran and they painted them bright pink! The nail polish has lasted without a chip or dent. They were quick to do the pedicure and they did a really good job. I also enjoyed the massage chairs they had, I probably could have sat in them all day! They also managed to squeeze me in for an eyebrow waxing at the last minute and both spa treatments ended up costing me $ 45 with tax and tip. A great del if you ask me! They also offer gel schalack nails, which I’m hoping to try in the near future!
