I came in to purchase a $ 20 gift card and the staff working told me if I purchase a $ 25 one, I could get a free 6 inch sub of my choice. So I ended up doing that and my sub was $ 6 so it was more than the difference I was going to pay. It was mid afternoon and there were a few tables occupied(they have 2 half booths) Service was quick and I appreciated that tip to get a free sub!

*Sorry to be contrary, Caley L, but this Subway isn’t the one in Scotia Place. 10036 Jasper Ave is actually right on the corner of 100A St and Jasper Ave, at street level. Just to clarify that we’re all talking about the same place! I’m always at a loss when it comes to reviewing fast food or chain restos. Frankly, I expect consistency across locations, so most of the time, it’s only the service that sets them apart. The staff at this location are always friendly, and the food well prepared. The staff actually seem quite nice, and don’t turn away even non-customers who ask for a restroom key, or linger a long time with a coffee on a bitterly cold day. I like that about this location — warm people. One of the few viable options in the area for quick, cheap and healthy takeout.

I’m gonna go out on a limb and say this right here, is the greatest subway in Canada. The employees that work here are awesome at keeping their customers happy and seem to genuinely enjoy their jobs. It’s located in the basement of Scotia Place, and there’s always a long lineup at lunch time. No matter how busy they get, they always make time to smile. They serve the same food as any other subway, but they pay more attention to detail. They listen to exactly what you want, and there’s always the right amount of goodness on your bread(be it on a wrap or sandwich). I have a hard time going to other subways(even though there’s four in the area). They seem to have office-type hours, because they’re not opened on weekends, and they’re always closed by 4:00pm. To beat the line, you can always call them and order your sandwich, but the call has to be before their lunch rush.

Standard Subway. I often stop here if I need a quick cheap meal between work and more work in the evening. It’s never busy, and the guy who works weekday evenings is super friendly.
