We were in the neighborhood and decided to come here to eat. My husband says he comes here for lunch occasionally and gets a bento box. He said the bento box is good but he didn’t enjoy our dinner there this evening; the food wasn’t good this time. I thought my food sucked and I will never come here again. I ordered a teriyaki chicken salad. It was a big bowl filled mainly with iceberg lettuce, some shredded cabbage, three cherry tomatoes, four cucumber slices, and a portion of sliced chicken on top. I had to look really hard for the vinaigrette, which was probably around a tablespoon and found at the bottom of the bowl. Even with a side of creamy dressing, I found my salad dry and boring. I ate half of it only because I had to fulfill my veggie requirement for the day and just wanted to get it over with. How I long for a poke bowl salad! The hubster had a Miso soup, a bowl of noodles and tempura. I sampled some of his food and it was just OKAY. We also shared this rainbow sushi Deluxe platter. That was just OKAY too. The food didn’t blow me away at all and I found the prices to be quite high. I wish I had insisted on going to Fatburger like originally planned.

Horrible food. Miso soup came same time as other food and was cold. All bentos had cold meat and rice. Crazy rolls over saturated in sauce. Complained and they said they were sorry but weren’t able to do anything about it as Manager was on vacation. We ordered and payed for green tea ice cream tempura. At the table they told us they didn’t have it and couldn’t do anything cause again the boss wasn’t there. Sure glad they ask for tip up front or they wouldn’t get any tips at all. Small crazy rolls, 4 bento boxes with pop and spring rolls nearly $ 100 with tip. Save your money and go to Mikado for a good Japanese meal.

I dropped into Teriyaki Corner today for lunch because I have previously been here and has some awesome sushi and was excited for another great meal. One great thing I have to say about them is that their layout is quite fun. They have swing benches at a few of their tables which I think are super fun! They also do things a little differently, and you need to go up and order and pay for your meal at the counter. Different, but no biggie. So today I ordered a deluxe bento box with pork, rice, tempura and edamame. Unfortunately it took quite a while to come out so I didn’t get to finish eating, but what I can say from what I ate is that these folks are in LOVE with their deep fryer! My pork had even been battered and thrown in the deep fryer– which I was not expecting, and a little afraid to eat because I have acid reflux! So I was a little overwhelmed that almost my entire meal was deep-fried, and left feeling a little yucky and wishing I had just got sushi instead. I’m not sure what to say about this one. I think if you’re looking for sushi, it’s a pretty good option. Otherwise, I don’t think I would overly recommend it, especially if you’re in a hurry.

It’s just okay. I find the prices slightly high for what you are getting, portion wise and quality wise. The menu is fairly extensive. Plenty of variety. The bubble tea is made with powder, not fresh fruit, so you’ll never catch me buying one from here. Overall, it’s a slightly better Tokyo Express, but not that much better.

Tempura prawns & veggies over rice with sauce is such a simple & filling dish I ate on some visits to Tokyo. So good here! No heat lamps. Fresh to order, hot and yummy. Great service too. Would definitely come back on my next visit.

Nice Japanese quick food fix. An alternative to Tokyo Express but better food quality. Panko Salmon Bowl and Pork Tenderloin Bowl highly recommended!

The food here was awesome. I had the beef rice bowl and sushi. The food was comparable with the kind you would find at high end Japanese restaurants. It was a different experience when ordering which was a little confusing at first but the hostess helped me figure it out. The food prep was also very quick. If you are in the mood for great Japanese food at a good price for a quick lunch or dinner, this place is where you should go!

We went here for the first time the other night, we recently moved to the area and were willing to try the local restaurants. We found this place to have an amazing selection and friendly service. We will certainly be coming back.

No complimentary tea. Food is served on disposable plastic trays. They don’t provide a dish to eat(drip) over. Water is served in plastic children’s cups. Is this what«Bistro» means? The prices are relative to Kyoto and Maki Maki with one-half the experience. I guess, if you live/work nearby it’s fine when you don’t want to go far. Oh, the food? Everything was fresh and tasted fine. The tempora batter in the center of the rainbow roll was almost a powder. I wouldn’t go back or recommend to a friend.

Great place to go when you’re craving a quick bite of sushi! I’ve tried most of their menu on different occasions including take out and havent had anything to complain about. Great service everytime.

This is my go-to quick sushi restaurant! I’ve been here many times, and every time I go, I enjoy the experience. There’s lots to choose from on the menu, including non-sushi items like chicken teriyaki(for my boyfriend who doesn’t like sushI). The rolls are always made fresh! They have tons of bubble tea options to drink(strawberry honeydew combo is my favorite)! Big booths to sit in or tables with swings hanging from the ceiling for seats. And the best part honestly, is the service! Their staff are so friendly and welcoming. There is one younger girl who works the till that always impresses me! She does a great job(sorry, wish I knew her name). Will definitely keep coming back here!

Teriyaki Corner is one of my absolute favourite restaurants in Edmonton and led to the discovery that I actually do enjoy sushi! If you choose to eat in, you can sit at one of the tables with a swinging bench, but if you take-out, the boxes are sturdy and the food is just as good… so good in fact, that we had take-out from here for my birthday! We can’t get enough of the crazy roll and I love the variety of the bento boxes. Their menu has a large selection and also boasts bubble tea! It’s a popular place(even with two other locations) so call ahead for take-out to avoid a long wait! Otherwise, have a seat and enjoy the swing.

Great place. Fast, fair and delicious. The sushi was good and they have lots of hot appy’s and filling chicken, beef and seafood dishes dishes, bowls and noodles. The décor is relaxed and simple. There are 1 or 2 other locations in Edmonton.

Food is excellent and good atmosphere. Is more an upscale takeout/eat in fast food restaurant. Price is a little higher, but the food quality justifies the price. One of our favorite places to eat in the area.

Love this place! Staff are super-friendly, food is excellent(and fast!). Wide variety of selection — some sushi /sashimi, but also cooked products like rice bowls and tempura. Their bubble tea is great, too! We’ve yet to eat in, but their atmosphere is very nice and their waiting area(for takeout patrons) is welcoming, as well.
