The Popcorn Shoppe

Definitely a cool place to stop in to, especially if you love different flavours of popcorn!
My co-​workers & I dropped in, mainly because I was dropping off my vehicle at the nearby windshield repair place. Upon entering you get a crazy whiff of different kinds of popcorn, it’s amazing!
The guy that was manning the shop was apparently the owner; he was very friendly & even gave a few small samples of different flavours.
I ended up buying my hubby-​to-​be (boyfriend at the time), Pina Colada flavoured popcorn & it was gone within days! He absolutely loved it!
I’d definitely recommend this place & need to hit it up again sometime soon!

Looking for unique Christmas gifts brought me to this shop, I had driven past on many occasions but had no need to visit until now. The shop is small but hey they only do one thing, popcorn! They do it very well, the older couple there were beyond friendly and offered free samples. I actually left this place smarter than I was prior, who realized there was so much to know about popcorn! The prices were actually reasonable for a speciality shop and the selection was amazing. The best part was the passion they showed for their product and the willingness to share their passion. This was not only a great place to shop but a great experience as well, give it a try and you will never look at a kernel the same again!

As a popcornaholic I luv this shop! Tons of different options, Flavours, pre-​made popcorn and oils. It can be a little pricey but there is something said for supporting a local business and a super cute retired couple! I recommend the pre-​made cheese flavored popcorn, they use liquid cheese flavoring that is to die for!

Absolutely wonderful place. We walked in a were greeted with friendly faces and free samples of popcorn. There is an amazing selection of powdered seasonings and glazes. I would recommend trying out the popcorn oil. It is canola oil with butter flavor that ended up making my kitchen smell wonderfully like a movie theatre. Don’t worry, it goes away. That is, if you are concerned.
If you only have an air popper, get the seasoning the Bacon Hickory pretty great, but so far my top choice is the Pickled Cowboy.
The also have an assortment of toffee, taffy, beer chips, and other gourmet snacks and chocolate. They even have my ever elusive chocolate pizza, regular and with Skor, Smarties or Reeses Pieces. I am already thinking about Christmas baskets!
One of my favorite things is refill ability. You can bring back the containers for a refill at a discount.

If you are a fan of popcorn, make some time to visit this delightful shop. Even if your not a fan of popcorn it might be worth a visit– The worst that can happen is you get a free bag of sample popcorn!
The shop sells popcorn makers, different types of corn, glazes, toppings, oils, and not to mention a large sample of sweets from candy apples to chocolate dipped waffles; oh, and of course popcorn.
The person who was working when I went was friendly and passionate about popcorn. He helped me pick out the perfect popcorn maker, and the glazes I was looking for. My home has become my own personal «Kernels». With bowl after bowl of carmel corn, candied popcorn, kettle corn, and movie style popcorn streaming out of my kitchen!
The only thing keeping this place from a five star review is the location. It’s in the south side sort if out of the away. That being said still well worth the trip.
