The idiot bartenders don’t even know how to pour a drink neat. When corrected on their poor drink«making» skills the bartenders became pissy. Also it’s filled with puffy chest bs and it has a washroom attendant which is useless and annoying.

Weird mix of popular dance and country. Pre-made music video setup was lacking in quality and ingenuity. Music, lights, and video were out of sync. I suppose a person who was drinking and liked country music would have liked it.
I haven’t been too many nightclubs in Edmonton(much less a country club), but I was surprised at how fun this place was. Then again, the place was packed with college kids, which might explain a lot. Parking is available out front in a giant lot, as well as the streets nearby if the lot fills up. Cover is $ 8, with a $ 2 coat check if you so desire. You can also skip the line for $ 20. The inside is a giant«barn» room with a lowered dance floor in the middle. Because of the steps required to get down there, there’s a «sardine factor» once you’re inside. The cool thing about such a setup is that you can stand on the edge and look over the entire crowd. In the middle is a giant«bull-shaped» disco ball. In theory that would be really cool, except that it looks more like a fetal rat than a bull. Took me a minute to figure it out. Once in a while there would be line dancing as well. We all did the Electric Slide while they played Marcia Griffith. Good times indeed. The music is mostly country, with classics such as «Cadillac Ranch» and«Truck Yeah». With that said, they did mix it up. It really was quite the head-scratcher when they started playing Gangnam Style and people were dancing to it while wearing cowboy boots and hats. In the saloon side(look to the right of the entrance once you’re inside) there’s a giant mechanical bull. While I didn’t ride it, it looked like many guests had a good time. Drinks are reasonable, at $ 5.75 for a beer. There are also young ladies running around with trays of shots. I must say this venue was surprisingly good. The place is nice, and the crowd was awesome. Most fun I’ve had in this city so far. Recommended.
