Thompson Optics

I’ve worn glasses and have had horrible eyes since I was 8 years old. Of all the Dr’s I’ve ever been to Dr. Thompson has been by far the best. He is a wealth of knowledge! Very friendly and made me feel comfortable.
I recently noticed my eyes are not as good as they used to be and took this great location as an opportunity to have them looked at.
Dr. Thompson took the time to explain everything in detail, making me aware of things I had no idea were even a problem.
Upon my second visit it looked as though he was running quite behind (over 30 mins so far… I’m actually sitting in the waiting area as I type this) while it would have been nice to be told about his running behind so I could let work know that I will be late, I can understand why this happens. Dr. Thompson takes his time and doesn’t rush you out the door.
I do look forward to seeing Dr. Thompson again!

I just had my first appointment with Dr. Thompson after seeing his positive reviews, and I am pleased to report that I had a great experience as well. Dr. Thompson was fun and personable, but also professional and caring. He took the time to explain things in a manner that was clear and easy to understand, and wasn’t patronizing like I have found some other optometrists to be. The office is nicely located with lots of free parking, and I found the cost of my eye exam to be very reasonable. I will definitely be recommending Dr. Thompson to my friends and family!

Dr. Thompson was honest, quick and efficient but very detailed in explaining every procedure and what to expect during the «not as scary as I thought it would be» eye exam. The location is conveniently located downtown with lots of free parking available. An email reminder of my upcoming appointment was also I nice touch! Would highly recommend him and this location and would certainly return myself.

This is a fantastic place for personal service! Good selection of eyewear, options for contacts and very careful fittings. The owner looks after the eye exams and contact lens fittings and is very personable. I recommend him to everyone. You will get reminders to book your next exam and they make you feel like they actually care about you not just your $$.
