Wow, I got the best service from these guys last week. Because of my employer, I get a super rate on my cell phone plan. I decided that since I was switching to a new provider — Telus from Koodo(though aren’t they the same thing? Like dumping one GF to go out with her older sister, eh?) — I would make the jump to the iPhone5 and get rid of the used(and free) iPhone3 that was dying a slow death. I contacted Scott and get my name on the list. From all the hoopla around the new iPhones, I was expecing to wait until about the end of October to get one in, even with getting my name on the list, but I was quite surprised last week when I got my new phone. Not only did they get one in for me, they delivered it in person to my office! I think they had other business there, but still, it was a great surprise — and it was already activated and ready to go. How cool is that?

I was first introduced to Wireless City about five years ago. At that time I was working IT for a local company and managing a fleet of several dozen cell phones. Tim and his team are very knowledgeable and service is prompt. More than once, Wireless city has helped me out of a bind. Most recently I ended up with a cell phone that was frozen due to an update that failed. The closest Telus dealer said they could help me get the phone fixed under warranty if I provided my proof of purchase. The problem with that is the dealer where I got the phone is out of business and finding proof of purchase would be difficult for me. Wireless City was able to verify warranty just by entering my phone number into their system. Even though there are several Telus dealers that are closer to me, my preference is to deal with Wireless City.
