No can find his place in Gananoque. Must’ve closed down! …three’s a crowd in this small town.

This was the place my friends and I used to go to when we were young. They’ve changed the place a bit in that they also run a buffet in addition to the regular menu, they have added Thai food to the cuisine, but it remains still to have a feel of old-​style classic Chinese restaurants.
Back in the day, it was Danny who you always had greeting you. No matter how long it had been since you darkened the doorsteps, he always seemed to not only remember you but also knew what you were up to. It’s that friendly greeting that sticks with you throughout the meal. The food is though Canadian-​ified, still tasty for the Gananoque Asian food options. I remember when they first got in Chinese beer Tsingtao which was the only place in Gananoque you could try it. Pretty cool.
The place still has old-​style counter service for individuals looking for lunch or dinner. And the Modern remains the sole place in Gananoque where you can get homemade vanilla or cherry Cokes. Hello, nostalgia.
