Only stopped in for a almond croissant and apple turnover and both were delicious. Wish I had had time to try more things but what I had was great

We ate lunch here today and it is fun. We knew it opened at 11 and almost couldn’t wait till then to go in and eat lunch. We had eaten here several years ago and my wife really remembered the meat pies and wanted another one. She was not disappointed. Along with it she got a big Latte. For desert she had a large Florentine cookie and she was smiling all along the way through it. I prefer simpler stuff so I got a veggie sandwich in spite of the menu containing salmon sandwich. I felt like lighter fare and the veggies were fresh, crisp and delicious including fresh mushroom slices, alfalfa sprouts, cucumbers, tomatoes, cheese slice, mustard and mayo if you want it, along with chips and a dill slice. Very good on multigrain bread. I drank coffee and they had 4 varieties of coffee to refill from on your own including caf, decaf, and two flavored coffees. In the refrigerated area they had uncooked fruit pies, meat pies, kidney pie, yum, plus bakery cookies. Recommend this to all.

Delicious French tortiere. I will be making a long drive here every once in a while just to have the meat pie… also to sample wonderful arrangement of Italian dishes!

We pulled over on a road trip for a brief stop and a snack and were really glad we did. Had the cherry cheesecake and it was soooooo delicious! Definitely worth a try. The croissant was only so so but the cake was so good I’m definitely going back!

I bought the peach and almond pie and to me it was underwhelming. Peaches were of mixed ripeness and tart, and not overly sweet at all. Normally less sugar is a preference of mine, but in this case it left the pie with somewhat insipid flavor. Not what I would have expected from a peach pie at this time of year.

OMG! I had a craving for some pastries and the concierge at our
hotel recommended this place… I think we gained 5 lbs in the ½ hour we were there; everything we tried was delicious: ham and cheese quiche, butter croissant, chocolate chip cookies, raspberry Danish and a chocolate chip cheesecake and some hot coco that was perfection! The service was also great and needless to say we will going back tomorrow before leaving!

This was a great find! The place was really busy and smelled amazing, that home-​made baked goods smell is just heavenly! My boyfriend and I both got treats, which were still warm from the oven as well as some chocolate breakfast croissants for the next morning! My boyfriend could not wait to eat his but I had mine the next day as planned, it was still very fresh and not too flaky! I loved coming here on our mini-​vacation and would recommend it to anyone passing through Gananoque!

Bakery, café and prepared foods. We had lunch and bought stuff to take home. Sandwich and soup, artfully done and very flavorful, especially the cauliflower soup. We bought bread and a torttier meat pie, frozen and unbanked for home. Large selection of Italian dishes, savory pies, frozen and ready to reheat at home. Family restaurant with everyone helping out.

This place is very special. Absolutely worth a side trip.
It’s my new go-​to place for lunch on my way to or from cottage.
Great sandwiches and baked goods and the family working there couldn’t be better!

This is a wonderful spot to grab some lunch. Fresh breads are very tasty. Modest but decent selection of sandwiches. Great deserts. Good location.
