This tiny little outlet inside the Maritime Centre is one of my go-to spots for a custom-made sandwich or pizza when it’s too miserable out to leave the office building and I forgot my lunch. Serving house-made pizzas, a sandwich and salad bar, and a small sampling of hot meal specials, this is a quick little spot to grab lunch. Get in line and watch them make your sub or wrap just the way you like it, and get it thrown on the panini press for some extra oomf. This is the only place that serves pizza in the building. I’m not a big pizza lover, but it’s got some decent slices. The meal deal, which is a slice and a can of pop, is pretty cheap too. The only thing is that the selection varies based on what was just brought out of the oven, so you might have to wait ten minutes to get a slice of ‘za of your choice. A small selection of baked goods, fruits, and other snack-type items are available at the cash. I would also strongly recommend venturing out this way for some muffins, as they are much bigger and more fulfilling that what the other places offer. They cater, too, so if you need a few pies for your office luncheon and you work in the building, you know you’ll get them fresh, just moments out of the oven.
