I don’t get it. This is place for twenty-somethings who like monochromatic clothes that follow the trend of the minute to the letter. When I was last there, it was all about sequins and studs. Black, oddly shaped sweaters with gold spikes jutting from one shoulder. Blouses made of see-through, slinky material. Glittery dresses that left nothing to the imagination. Shirts with chains. Sparkle pants. Piles of trendy fabric everywhere. The girls who work here are all pleasant enough, but I can never find anything that could work with my wardrobe. Though I do enjoy their forever partying mannequins by the entrance.

I was pleasantly surprised by Dynamite. On the outside, it looked kind of expensive and intimidating, with a large door-less corridor entry permeated by loud music. However, once inside I found some very affordable clothing that did not look quite so affordable, with friendly staff there to help me navigate it. I ended up buying a nice button up black shirt with a ruffle down the front, which actually worked with my non-chestily-challenged nature. I’m glad I went inside this place, but I don’t think there were a lot of other people who made that decision since I was the only customer there.
