The people who’ve reviewed this shop before me are far to generous!
The transition from duel store, to the solo store made shopping there less enticing!
The lines that I loved were available at additionelle, not penningtons! Now I have to go on a long trip to get to the additionelle to get those items!
Penningtons doesn’t carry bras above a DD!
The new «young» line is to expensive, and to old for people in the age group they claim to design it for!
The general design of clothing for the store has gone WAY down! The price has gone insane for SALE items!
I needed tshirts! 20 bucks each! I won’t pay more then 5 for a Tshirt!
Generally I dislike the store!
That’s not even starting in on the staff!
Now to the staff, the reactions I get when I go in are mixed! Somedays I get a staff members full attention, other times I’m treated like a leper! I couldn’t get service if I was on fire!
I have on many times gone to my own dressing room because the staff were to tied up talking to each other!
I don’t enjoy being ignored when I go looking in a store! Especially when the item I want is spread out into 6 different racks all over the store!
The «condescending» attitude of many staff members turn me off and makes me wanna not even shop!
So generally I will not tell anyone to go here to find anything!

This location has recently transformed from a Penningtons & Addition Elle location to Penningtons only & it’s never been better! They have a huge selection with a new line that is more focused on younger & trendier options which is great! The staff there are always friendly, helpful & have gone above & beyond to help me with my purchase! Their regular pricing is usually fairly high, but just wait for a sale & you will definitely get some great deals! If you can wait even longer then they often offer a 50% off sale pricing which is amazing, I’m talking $ 5 shirts & $ 10 bras! The only catch is that sometimes it can be hard to find the right size by this point but if you go in with an open mind just to see what they have you will more then likely find something great! I also recommend signing up for their loyalty card as it ensures that you will be up to date on all their great offers, you will get deals on your birthday & lots of other fun perks!

This big box store holds a Penningtons and Addition Elle (which also carries their younger, trendier line: MXM) and it has almost everything you could need!
Being such a large store there’s a huge selection of styles and sizes available for every taste and size (14+). Staff are always very friendly and eager to help-​out. I love that I know most of the sales associates and they know me — it makes going in there and looking for clothes SO much easier. They’re not afraid to help you with selection, give their advice or make suggestions on better fits/​sizes/​styles.
This Penningtons is one of the best plus size clothing stores in Nova Scotia!

What a great plus size clothing store. I shop this store all the time with my best friend. She always finds great deals and the staff are incredibly helpful.
Being a plus size female, she usually pays a lot for her clothes and her selection is not that great. $ 70 for a pair of ugle jeans is a total sin! When she goes into Penningtons, she can usually get an entire outfit for close to $ 70. She usually goes in around January or February when they are in the middle of season changes. The clothes are 75% off and she gets a lot of great deals!
The staff are always available to help when you need a size or even just an opinion. They always try to save you money as well even if it is just to remind you to use their club card to accumulate points. For ever $ 500 you spend at Penningtson, they send you a $ 25 gift certificate in the mail.
Great place to shop!
