I am truly surprised that this convenience store has survived, with a Sobey’s and multiple drug stores within sight of the store. I have only popped in to get a few minor items(energy drinks mostly) but each and every time I kick myself for the cost. It’s the over priced spot to go if you can’t be bothered getting fully ready to head to the Sobey’s for a far better value.

You are not convenient. And your peanut butter cups were stale — how does that happen? See ya never.

I am surprised that this store can survive. Sobeys is only 250 meters away and has virtually the same opening hours. Fenwick Convenience is a pretty poor convenience store compared to what I’m used to from Ontario. It has a very small product selection, high prices, and is not very clean, with quite a few things on the shelves that are long expired. It’s not a horrible store but at the same time I’m surprised that it hasn’t vanished yet.

Fenwick Convenience might not be the fanciest(or cleanest) place in town but it will work in a pinch. It certainly wouldn’t be my first choice of places to visit, I’ve found many a dusty chip bag or banged up pop can lingering on their shelves and don’t even get me started on the semi-public restroom.(Apparently the staff are selective on who they let use the washroom, but they were nice enough to let me). The only thing that is really convenient about Fenwick is the fact that it’s usually open and carries some random things on top of the usual snack and grocery options. While the penny candy is sometimes stale, the prepackaged candies that are a rare find in regular Needs stores or gas stations(like airheads for example) are a great find.

Not sure why some people go into the customer service industry when they really do not have any idea of how to deliver. I use to go here when I lived in the South End. Not much to go in here for, only if you are in a crunch.

There really isn’t a whole lot ‘convenient’ about this particular shop on the corner of Fenwick and South Part Streets. I have lived down the block from this store for a year and a half now and have on numerous occasions: been denied laundry money and generally dealt with in a surly manner. I have since stopped heading to this convenience shop in favor of Sobey’s or the place next to Uncle Buck’s. Not a ton of selection either. Missing key pop options and penny candy is stale.
