This new location of Manhattan Pizza opened up close to where we live. My fiancé had suggested it one night, mainly because of their opening promo of: buy a large pizza and get it for half price. We have eaten there twice. The first time we ate there we ordered a large and a large garlic fingers. The pizza was very good, it had a nice robust crust that could handle any amount of toppings. Speaning of toppings, the toppings certaintly were piled high. We were fairly sastified with the taste of the pizza. The amount of toppings was more than most pizza shops seem to use. The one con, was in the ordering process… the. flyer we received in the mail said you could order online. However, when we tried the site was not set up yet. The second time was last week. My fiancé’s parents were down and we were all going to eat supper at his sister’s. He suggested pizza, which we all agreed upon. We decided to go back to Manhattan Pizza. We ordered: – a large works – a large meat lovers – a large chicken with green pepper – a large garlic.fingers. When we walked into the shop, I was impressed with how clean the storefront was. There was no dirt to be found anywhere, it gave me confidence that the kitchen hopefully has the same high standard. The meat lovers was good and different as it has hamburger, and real bacon and sausage. The chicken pizza was very good, and had real chicken which is a nice change from the usual frozen, diced chicken product. that is normally used. My only compliant with our second. order is the price, with the half price promotion it came to nearly 50 $. So, if it was full price it would be nearly 100 $, which I feel is expensive for what we got. In any case if you are close to this location, give them a try!

My family was visiting and we decided to order pizza for dinner. My brother suggested this place because there was a special on large pizzas — 50% off. This new location in Russell Lake recently opened and was close by so we opted for pick up. We ordered 3 large pizzas and a garlic finger. The pizzas were a good size and it came with plenty of donair sauce. The first pizza was a meat pizza — it was loaded with ground beef, and also had sausage and bacon — it was good but had way too much beef, so much that my plate was covered in beef that fell off as I was eating it. The second pizza was a veggie pizza — green peppers, onions, mushrooms, etc. I did not try this pizza but others said it was good. The third pizza had chicken and mushrooms as the toppings — it was quite good and there was something different about the chicken from other pizza places that made it quite delicious(maybe the seasoning?). The garlic finger was a typical garlic finger — it could have used more cheese though. The cost was around 50 $, but at 50% off, it would have been quite expensive full price. I would probably only order from here when there are specials like this happening, otherwise, it seems a bit pricey. The do have specialty pizzas that might be worth trying, and they also offer other food such as poutine and pasta/salad. I would recommend trying this location at least once before dismissing it as just another chain pizza place.
