Newstand Etc. is a pretty pathetic little store.
My experiences here have been limited to buying water while visiting my boyfriend at work, and it seems to me like I wouldn’t have much other reason to come here.
Sure they carry some snack food and magazines, but there are very limited options on both fronts and they don’t carry a number of items that you’d think you would be able to find at a store like this (any sort of stationary, lip chap, band aids etc.).
I’ve wandered through the shelves of Newstand Etc. a few times and wondered how it turns a profit, I’ve never even seen anyone else in the little store.

An extra star for Newsstand Etc. because on recent visits they have been more friendly and, at least, apologetic for their silly 25 cent fee.
Everything is still a little expensive and my major complaints with the store still stand, but isn’t it amazing what a decent customer experience can do for an opinion?
A lesson to be learned, always smile and be polite as you overcharge me for an item and I won’t mind so much!
