Haven’t tried the rock climbing aspect of this place. But I’ve had lunch here a few times. The Banh Mi was absolutely delicious, you can really tell they use fresh ingredients. $ 9 isn’t too cheap for just a sandwich but man was it ever good.

A Hidden Gem. Gottingen is riddled with incredible places to relax, have a bite to eat and be social, like EDNA& Field Guide. But among them there is a place that I had over looked since its opening, Seven Bay Bouldering. I don’t climb, so I would have never thought of stopping in. But today on my way to get a sandwich from Jane’s I noticed the sidewalk sign in front off SBB that read, «Squash Soup and Cauliflower Tacos.» Tacos are my crypto its lately, so I had to have a peak. WOW! Was I ever impressed! The café is sleek, modern, comfortable and had a great curated design. The service was great, and the kicker… the food was even better! I am impressed to say the least. Everything was fresh, tasty ANDTHESOUPCAMEWITHGARLICBREAD — An unexpected pleasant surprise! If you haven’t yet stopped by, please do. If not for the bouldering, for the food. Amazing!

Seven Bays is a modern, hip bouldering gym best suited for adults in the city. This is not an ideal place for kids or teens. They should go to Ground Zero. 7 Bays is part bouldering gym, part café and part bar. It is a place for yuppies to go bouldering and hang out. I am used to bouldering gyms being very sparse(in atmosphere), unwelcoming and aimed for dirty rock bums. So this is a nice change. An ideal place for climbers to hang out and be social. As someone who climbs and is not good at bouldering, I thought the ratings were very, very lenient. Skilled boulderers may not be properly challenged after a few trips. Also, they could use some improvement in marking routes. Day pass was $ 14 pre-tax and staff was friendly. I hope customers don’t get tempted to drink a few then climb. But having a cold beer ready for you after a climb is like a dream.
