Boston Pizza

First visit. First impressions. Family of 4 enjoying a Saturday lunch here at BP. Greeted and seated quickly. Kid friendly. Excellent service (eg refills kept coming without asking). Nachos and calamari to share were good. Split a Big Dipper with my wife — yummy. Even my kids spaghetti with meat sauce was «delish» (I had to try some!)

The service I had here was outstanding from both the server and the assistant manager. The portions for our appetizer and mains were quite simply huge and neither of us could finish, including the appetizer. Took the leftovers home and made it another meal.

Went here twice last week on my lunch hour from work. Let me stress lunch HOUR. The first visit was with my husband and children. We all ordered off the lunch menu as we were pressed for time and didn’t get served our drinks until we were there 25 minutes. Long short of this visit is none of us were able to eat our food as I had to get back to the office.
2^nd visit. Went in again on a lunch hour with 3 coworkers. We stood in the foyer for 10 minutes before we were acknowledged. We were seated and waited another 15 minutes and still no server came to see us. The restaurant was not busy. Another 5 minutes pass and we walked out. Such a shame. It would be nice to have a place to go on a lunch break.

I had a seminar to conduct this afternoon in Hamilton and I met some colleagues for lunch at this Boston Pizza beforehand.
We showed up at 11am, just as the restaurant opened. Needless to say, we had our choice of seats and chose a booth (there were five of us). Christina was our server and she took good care of us. The other server backed her up to bring us our meals at the same time.
I ordered chicken parm (I love chicken parm!) and it was okay. The chicken had a lot of rosemary in the breading. I had spaghetti with Alfredo sauce as the side. It along with the garlic bread were a bit cool, not hot. Surprising considering the restaurant had just opened.
The others ordered a sandwich and salad, a pizza and a couple spicy chicken salads and they looked good.
I’d go back the next time I’m in that ‘hood.
