Che Burrito is delicious. Che Burrito has cheap beer. Che Burrito is a neat dive bar. But… CHEBURRITOISNEVEROPEN. I have been disappointed by this place one too many damn times over the years. I like Che Burrito so much that I walk a half hour just to get there. Just to be disappointed that they’ve closed at some weird hour outside of their posted opening and closing times. How I can enjoy your delicious burritos if you won’t let me in Che? Che Burrito is my unreliable boyfriend, and I’m breaking up.

Good food. If your not sure what you want take a remade menu item or you can make your own burrito with the make your menu list. Some stuff costs extra so be careful or you’ll have a 20 dollar burritto.

The menu is actually getting better! More choices, some great new appetizers and deserts. Rolling Rock on draft is awesome too. Keep up the good work, the last 4 visits everything has gotten better each time!!! Maybe the best burritos in Canada.

Go here! Great burritos — you can design your own, but I would almost rather they came in TWO wraps because the monster it comes in is the size of your face. No complaints other than the sheer size of my burrito, but the staff were casual, nice and helpful. Service was pretty speedy. The place isn’t huge though, so maybe have a nearby plan B in case you show up and it’s full.

(2 stars for service, 4 stars for food) Yummy burritos in Hess Village! Service is sub-par but it’s hard to screw up when customers just have to fill out a sheet with their order and hand it to the server(one time, they *still* managed to give me the wrong burrito… I only realized when I already took a bite!). Tons of toppings to choose from, and most of them are free, except guacamole and a few others. Sweeet potato fries are the perfect side. Nice little patio out front. Note — they don’t take debit or credit card, but there is an ATM in the restaurant.

Smells like beer-cured wood, but that just adds to it’s charm. I’ve never been there for drinks, but when I was there for dinner, it reminded me of the good old days of drinking till you got the spins the first time you got up to go to the bathroom. Really comfortable laid back feel. As for lunch, quite simply the very best burritos I have ever experienced. Fully customizable, you get a great big giant burrito filled, nay, stuffed, with all your favorite burrito fixin’s. Go there, eat a burrito, leave happy.

I unfortunately haven’t tried the burritos, which I’ve been meaning to since I’ve heard so much about them. The best thing about Che’s is the Friday Night No Standards Night, with DJ’s Mac and AA. I haven’t been in awhile, but I always had a blast — cool people, decently priced drinks and awesome music. The DJ’s spin indie rock and electroclash stuff mostly — M.I.A, MGMT, Kings of Leon, Blur, Justice and Hot Chip are among just a few of the bands they’ve spun while I’ve been there. And they’re always good about taking the odd request. Be warned though, I stopped going because it got popular and insanely packed(like, line-up at the door packed), and if you want to get a table you have to get there pretty early. It is an insanely teeny tiny place for the number of people who frequent the Friday nights. If you don’t mind getting uncomfortably close the people next to you on the very tiny dance floor though, it’s pretty awesome. And as I said, that’s not even getting started on the supposedly amazing burritos…
