Delicious food, great setting. I love that they used the building as part of the décor and exposed all the brick. I was very happy with the pizza margarita but extremely disappointed with the beer selection. Stella and Coors Light just doesn’t cut it! Try the grilled calamari Very delicious and a unique appetizer

I heard about this place from a friend and checked it out. The décor has a very… club-like feel to it, which isn’t to my personal taste. It was empty on a Thursday night. Reading the review below, I opted for the ravioli with carpaccio to start. The waitress didn’t seem to understand what I meant when I said carpaccio, and had to point to it to confirm. They had no wine list but she brought over an iPad with the list, which was a bit odd. The bread and hummus was nice. The carpaccio, unfortunately, was very poorly seasoned and I found it quite bland — not worth $ 12. Although I was impressed that the ravioli was made in house, it was undercooked and very gummy. Not al dente, just not cooked. So disappointing. The filling(spinach and cheese) was tasty but the sauce tasted like it came from a jar, with a pool of red water around the whole dish. Also poorly seasoned, had to ask the waitress for parmesan and pepper since she didn’t offer. We skipped dessert. I’m sure they can iron out these kinks but it seems like this is the second instance of undercooked food. I am all for supporting new restaurants in Hamilton, but I’m sad to say I won’t be returning. Better pizza can be had from NaRoma, Bread Bar, or Chicago Style Pizza.

(I would give 2.5 if that were available). I am sure they will work out a few kinks, but our meal last night was a little hit and miss… The hits: caprese and mista salads, beef carpaccio, veal, mushroom ravioli. The misses: pizza. It was bad! Really heavy, spongey dough, reminiscent of frozen pizza. Calamari– unevenly cooked some pieces were tender, others like chewing on a bicycle tire. Our waitress, although friendly, obviously had no idea what she was doing, making the wait times longer than necessary. She’ll figure it out I’m sure. Also we got charged for a second helping of the«Complimentary» bread – not a huge deal to me but other people I was dining with weren’t impressed– as she did present it to the table with the words«complimentary bread»… I would go back in a couple weeks when they have sorted out a few things – but I’ll steer clear of the pizza. Dr Oetker would be better.
